I think this is more a list of "my faves" than who has the best vocal abilities; range, depth stylings, etc. Adam Lambert is hands down the most overall talented vocalist on glee. Damien should have been way higher.... the boy has pipes... founding and current member of Celtic Thunder. Jenna should have been way higher. These ratings were who the OP liked best

There's no denying Lea's talent. She has an impressive vocal register, good vocal quality, and power. But she was given a LOT of pop/rock songs on the show and it just... didn't work for her voice type. The writers and music directors honestly gave her too much credit because I don't think she's that versatile of a singer in terms of different styles and genres. She's overtrained and technical and it doesn't work for more contemporary pop, rock, or R&B. Her vocal quality is too bright and her way of singing and her delivery is too theatrical. Her pop music career is proof. Sia wrote her songs, Lea tried to mimic Sia's style and it just...yikes. When she sang Barbra Streisand, showtunes, and even Celine Dion, she flourished. When she sang stuff like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, or Halestorm (I'm sorry since a lot of you love that cover of Here's to Us but I thought it was awful), she would sound really teflon-y and it felt like... kind of like a sugar hangover when you eat something that's really really sweet but makes you feel nauseous or gives you a headache after.

I imagine credit for that "versatility" goes to the men and women who created her "voice" in the studio. Heather was hired to dance, not to sing. I love her character and she's a very talented dancer, but you'd have to be tone deaf not to realize that she's not even a passable singer.
