Ryan was talking about her character, Quinn. Quinn was really mean in season 1.

Ryan was just frustrated with Dianna’s representation of Quinn. Ryan wanted a sterotypical head cheerleader-sexy, confident, mean, and cruel. Dianna visualized a different perspective of Quinn in that Quinn is soft, gentle but hiding deep rooted anger. She also insisted that Quinn is religious (or at least very spiritual). I prefer Diana’s idea of Quinn personally, but that’s the reason why Ryan was so irritated with Diana.

Ok I’ve watched every part, and literally everything he said about dianna was harsh. I just feel so bad because she seems like such a sweet soul. Like he even said we should just go back to the original glee club, and she was the only one in this video who wasn’t in that.

I think there's an interview where he said that Quinn was supposed to be mean the entire time but Diana plays her so sympathetically that they had to change her storylines to redeem her more. I don't remember where I saw that but a lot of people think he doesn't like her for "ruining" his idea of Quinn.
