Alright we already knew that Naya was going to kill this from when he even began singing it. Don't get me wrong Lea has a good voice, but she was just the same old Broadway singer so it it was nothing new. Then, Naya did her own version and she owned it. It's to bad and so sad that we will never hear her beautiful voice again. She was beautiful, very talented, and an idol for many. I LOVE YOU NAYA. Rest In Peace!!

Whether Naya is a better singer than Lea is a matter of opinion. Although Santana can sing very well, she does not have a Broadway voice like Rachel does. She has more of a recording artist's voice. Therefore, Rachel was the best choice for the song & the role of Fannie Brice. Apart from having good acting, singing, & dancing skills, you have to have the right kind of voice & look for a particular role. Santana really should not have been cast as Rachel's understudy: she doesn't fit Fannie's character description at all
