In the studio version of Don’t Dream It’s Over, the background vocals are much louder.

when they sing “love song” in the episode, quinn could be heard singing/harmonizing? with santana and rachel (in the chorus) more clearer than in the studio version.

one 'episode vs studio' song change i hate the most is with Not The Boy Next Door, the episode version doesn't include the cool high note "that i am not (you are not the boy next door, you don't belong)' after the second chorus, it only skips to the third chorus. it's such a shame

Your videos are amazing! I love them so much. The episode version of No Air starts with Rachel singing ‘tell me how I’m supposed to breathe with no air’, the studio version doesn’t have that. I’ve noticed that Blaine’s voice is a little behind on the episode version of Don’t Stop Believin’ (season 5). The studio version fixed that but in the episode he’s not in sync with the instrumentals or the person he’s singing with (Will/Tina/Rachel).

If you do a part 5, I have one that I’ve recently noticed. Blaine’s vocals in Its Not Right But It’s Ok are placed slightly earlier in the episode version. It drives me nuts when I watch the episode now.

Do you mean how some parts of the bridge are cut out. thanks 😊

@@bluejellybean2094 No not that, they cut parts of songs out in the episodes often. Listen to the first verse in both versions. Blaine sings slightly earlier in the episode. And no worries! 💜

Some more contendors I noticed while cutting most of these songs into episode versions. I'm a Slave 4 U has most of the first verses jumbled around in the episode a la I Know What Boys Like, Tonight from West Side story has a completely different ending to the point where I gave up trying to cut it together, What It Feels Like For A Girl has the words in the beginning spoken in the ep and sort of sung (?) with backing instrumentals in the studio version, I Know Where I've Been has Unique come in and sing the beginning words with no instrumentals in the episode, therefore cutting out the beginning chords and instrumentals of the studio version, You Keep Me Hangin' On jumps right into the song with the little drum noise and leaves out the guitar from the studio version. That's all I can think of so far that hasn't been mentioned by you before but I'm not quite done so more could come up.
@annibunny6552 жыл бұрын
Oh and before I forget, Let It Go has Rachel speaking "The cold never bothered me anyway" at the end and in the studio version she sings and in Sweet Caroline it's just Puck's voice during the chorus in the studio version and in the episode the club sings backing vocals.

@@bluejellybean2094 You're very welcome! I have a couple more if you are interested, though I'm not 100% sure if they meet your criteria. This may just be to my ears, but the beginning of Born This Way sounds a lot less layered in the episode unlike in the studio version (up until Tina's first line). Hate On Me has backing "du du du" s in the beginning of the song in episode but not on the studio version. Bad Romance leaves out the beginning "Ohhh" s from Kurt and instead jumps straight into the "ra ra ra" s without as much instrumental background. P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing) has a verse that isn't in the studio version in the episode after "na na na" part it goes into "P.Y.T." s from the club and "Oh baby" from Artie. Bonus because IDK how well you could work this in. I Just Can't Get Enough and You Give Love a Bad Name are two more I gave up cutting together into the episode version because half the instrumental riffs aren't long enough, probably because people keep talking in those parts. Anyway, I'm really thankful to you for these videos because they helped me discover some mistakes I made in my project so keep up the good work ❤
