Yes they are,but they do not hang out ,they are so close because of crisscolfer shippers. Chris was in one of the days of the show, when hedwig and the angry inch was put up where darren was portraying hedwig. Darren even made a chris colfer joke in the show. Pretty sure they are friends

iRosati kind of agree though both of their voices are lovely and they sound great together it just sounded like another perfectly harmonized cheesy glee song and though I love those I would have loved if the show had stepped out of the box with their songs and used differs voice combos then they always did
