Agree completely! Even if they had just done it off screen before they did The Quarterback episode. Every season is supposed to/should have ended with them together. Or even in the Beattles episodes when they knew they could have said something about him being in town visiting Rachel. They could have given us some type of endgame happily ever after for them. He never got his happy ending really. 😭

Ruby Stewart I think I read/saw somewhere that they were supposed to win, but then Glee got renewed for a second season, so they changed the storyline so they would lose. It's a bit more realistic to not immediately win the first time around when you get another season.
