First things first, this is one of the better Beatles performances from Glee. Secondly, how could Kurt not see that Rachel was raging over Santana getting that tv commercial? She was silent, jealous raging and then sulking over it while tuning the piano. Or has his joyful engagement (I call it joyful because their 'All you need is love' performance was also one of the better Beatles performances from glee) put rose-coloured glasses over his eyes? I've always loved 'Get Back'

I’m wondering something, maybe someone here knows the answer. This is episode 2 season 5 right? Did they shoot episode 1 and 2 “Beatles” after Cory had passed away?!? If yes, how in hell could they all do it like nothing is wrong and then shoot episode 3 “ the Quarterback” !?!!!???!? I mean, I know it’s their jobs, they’re actors but man, i could have never ever be able to do those 2 episodes and smile... Thanks

I think That they shoot These episodes like one month after he died, so maybe it was easier to control the emotions, plus if you see lea's face, it seems like she is under a lot of makeup, well... Thats What i read and watched.

I think there's two filming scenarios. Either 1) they film a lot of episodes way ahead of the original air date, so when this season originally aired on TV, a lot of these beginning episodes were already filmed and were in the final stages of production (typical for TV shows), then for the Quarterback episode, they filmed it around the time the news was released so they could stick the episode into the season close to/around the date of the actual tragedy happening.. kind of like, a call back so they can film the tribute episode then they let the cast have a break to grieve since the other episodes were already filmed.. or 2) these episodes were filmed after the news was released, giving them all time to grieve, but it's less likely because that means they would be filming episodes as they air, which wouldn't give the producers a lot of wiggle room to film, produce, and air episodes between each air date.. especially when something tragic happens, meaning the cast needs time. However, it's still possible, and that's why these scenes are written to be more "laid back" without much serious storyline (unless it's dramatic) so the actors don't need to work as hard and can still process their personal emotions. Either way, I doubt any of the Glee cast could hear such tragic news then go to work the next day and act as if everything is fine, so something has to give... As for the exact contingencies, I guess we'll never know.

yes, it was filmed after cory's passing. it's hard to answer how the actors kept together while filming but, according to ryan murphy, it was their decision to get back to work as soon as it was possible. but you can see that lea lost a lot of weight and was under a lot of makeup, just like naya. it was a tough time, but they went through it

@@MI.YT. actually, they used to start the filming process for the seasons like a month or so before the premiere. so, usually when the first episode aired, the cast and the crew were like two or three episodes ahead of filming. it was indeed a short time for post production but it wasn't that bad, i guess
