@@naruhina9316I am seven years late to add that Glee was actually the Finchel show….they were front and center for everything and I LOVED IT….the show was literally suppose to end with the two of them. I always anticipated their scenes, duets, kiss and even the small touches when they are just sitting in the choir room…I love that the show knew their big tickets and it was obvious because they treated Finn and Rachel like royalties by giving them the most important moments and cliffhangers… Might I say again that Finchel are Superior to all the other ships….the order ships only shined more after Finn died. After rewatching the show I now understand why other characters fanbase are always trying to shove their faves down our throats after the show ended…..Rachel and Finn got to do everything their faves could not but they keep forgetting that their faves were casted as supporting character as opposed to Finn and Rachel 😂

One of the things I really loved about this episode: with this set of 3 numbers, New Directions really, truly, by any objective measure beat Vocal Adrenaline. It was the first and only time that they just plain out-sang and out-danced them when both groups were at full force and trying their very best. How do you win Nationals? You have to earn it by beating Vocal Adrenaline fair and square. And they did it. As a Mom, I was so proud of these kids, I felt like my heart was going to burst.

It’s been nearly eight years since I got into glee. In that time I started and finished high school and college, and got a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance, in no small part thanks to Glee. This performance truly showcases the best of Glee, imo. This was easily Cory’s best performance- his voice truly shone here and went from “not bad!” To “WOW!!!” And everyone got time to shine here, specifically the original members. Rachel didn’t take over the song, but she was still able to take lead in a way that felt awesome. The energy is great, the choreo is awesome, and you can tell that everyone’s truly having a great time. THIS is New Directions at their best, and it’s songs like these that makes you realize why this show had such a hold on me. THIS is the spirit of performing. Long story short, I LOVE this performance.
