Sorry, I don't get two things...1) since when Criss is become the ONLY actor in Glee (ALL is about him, ENOUGH!); 2) why is so important that he play a gay role, he's an actor, it's his job...that does not make him better or more talented than the others...

When his "girlfriend" took over the behind the scenes and decided that she should dictate everything that is seen. Mia is the epitome of nepotism and unprofessionalism.

that he plays a gay character does not make him a better actor, but a bigger role model. it's great with a straight guy, so confident in himself and his sexuallity. and darren is a strong advocate for LGBT rights

Annarita Sferra well the thing about mentioning that he is straight, darren did at first not want to say what his sexuallity was because "it shouldn't matter and in a perfect world it wouldn't , but by not saying anything people assume you're gay". so he "came out" as straight to clearefy that he's confident in his sexuallity, and since then it's been kind of a thing to always say that he is straight. and also there are fans who still believe he's gay no matter what he or anybody else says. but i don't find that darren is the one saying it. other people are making a big deal of it. "he plays a gay character dispite that he's straight himself"

Liranamosh I know, but since he is so confident about his sexuality and he is so supportive about LGBT, I think it would be more mature and wiser to not insist on the topic "I'm straight". Other actors in his same situation - rumors about being gay - (Johnny Galecki), simply say that it does not matter. And what fangirls think should't affect him so much!!! Anyway, we simply have different opinions! :) Oh and sorry for my english, I'm Italian! Bye!
