This is a great version of the song. I love the song the rose in my opinion I think that this version is as good as Bette Middlers version. But as I said it's like my all time favourite song.

Amanda McBroom wrote the song and was the original singer, but yes, Bette made it famous.

This made nonsense at all Broadway it's her dream but she wants to jeopardize this for a stupid tv show? even though the song is so great but wasted by the others people! Rachel Berry/Lea Michele is just so talented it's so good! it's hard to judgeonly characters in these performances because the real human being sings too! this is why Glee is so special the boundaries between reality and fiction are really thin!
