All they found evidence of was child porn, which is disgusting and somewhat damning, but if he didn't act on it further than that he was still possibly capable of rehabilitating himself with therapy, but instead he killed himself from guilt of his actions. It is obviously terrible to enjoy watching the exploitation of children - it's fucked up. But is it as bad as directly molesting/raping children?

The problem with this entire episode is that this never happens to Rachel (on-screen). She's never accosted by people telling her how much they need her to perform, etc.

She actually never had to fight for them, they were just assigned to her so you're wrong there. But people were shitty to her at times, although she was shitty back as well. If you want to look at people who had to fight for solos, look at Kurt, Mercedes and Santana, as well as (to a lesser extent) Tina and Artie. It was believable in the first few seasons, but from the third season on, it became The Rachel (and Blaine) Show. They worked it out, Rachel has had 46 solos from 1.01 to the end, whereas Blaine had 31.

Rachel never had it easy, yes, she was the member who had more solos, but remember that she was the one that worked more, just an example when they had the competition boys vs girls, Rachel was the one who came up with the Halo/Walking on sunshine mash up and also created the choreography, while the other girls didn't even bother to help her. My point is that it wasn't fair all the thing people in the glee club said about Rachel getting more solos, because talent aside she was the member who was more involved, and she wanted it more, i think that was what make her so special. Now Blaine, i never really understood why he got that many solos.

That is a good point, although I would argue that Mercedes and Kurt do put in a lot of effort. The problem with this is that it's never really quantified how much work people put in, although we can easily assume that with Rachel's obsession, she puts a lot in, and given Mike's dancing skills, we can easily assume that he's at the forefront for dance routines. Now talking about the gelled hobbit opens up a whole new can of worms. His voice isn't as good as a lot of the originals, and I think he was really pulled to the front because people knew him from AVPM, and/or responded to Klaine. Why they didn't also propel Kurt forward was mainly because RIB resented Chris' other appearing projects (SBL and TLOS) and held it against him.

Yeah, Blaine was so obnoxious, i would have loved that Mercedes have had all of the solos that he had, she was an amazing singer and we never really got to know her story very well, they could have put more rivalries between her and Rachel for solos, and once they've graduated for jobs , their frenemies would have worked so much better than Rachel vs Santana. Blaine should have been just Kurt's boyfriend and not stealing the spotlight from him.

While I loved this episode for the sole fact that I got to see Artie with a ponytail and a Will/Sue switch, I hated that they basically used it to tell Tina that she shouldn't be upset that the seniors (Rachel) are getting the spotlight at Nationals when Rachel always gets the spotlight and is playing the sympathy card to get her way again. I feel like Ryan Murphy constantly had the writers trying to push us over to Rachel's side no matter how many times that we've shown that Rachel was in the wrong.
