Not the moment she realized it. It was the moment she decided to openly express it. Especially the part where is says "I've been afraid of changing because I've build my life around you, but time makes you bolder". The song is about Santana not feeling ready for the change that outing herself will bring, but loving Britney regardless, and offering what little she has emotionally to Britney (the song talks about a whethered person)

Rachel's comment relates to what she perceives as a sexual lesbian relationship Santana and Brittany have - hence why Santana said "you can't put a label on me" because 1. She hasn't came out as a lesbian yet, she's slowly just coming to terms with her own sexuality and feelings for Brit and 2. It's more than just "sexual" relation for Santana (which what Rachel is implying) but it's pure love that Santana just expressed for Brit through that song. So Rachel's comment is kind of rude, personally for me.
