I know how Tina feels because I had a crush on my guy friend and it turned out that he was gay and I was crushed about it. I actually found out that he gay because like Tina I asked him to a school dance(for me homecoming, for Tina prom) and he turned me down because he was gay. And while I do understand and applause Tina for doing something that I could never do in a million years, I don't think she should have acted on her feelings for Blaine and this was awkward for everyone around Blaine and Blaine himself.
