In reality, 99% of people making crappy wages aren't caring and understanding, they're cold and mean. Sometimes you get a rare one like Mr Schue. Although I will say his house looked way too big and nice for an Ohio teacher's salary. And his wife barely worked.

I had a crush on one of my teachers when I was 13/14. He relied on me a lot for several reasons, the main ones probably being that I was a fast learner, I was the eldest student in class, and it was his first teaching job at the time. I of course took it in a more personal way, tbh I'm pretty sure that he knew and sometimes found it kinda funny. He always was very professional, made sure that he never crossed boundaries, and the things that he only ever did were encourage me, cheer me on, help me interact more since I was always alone, and be a little more honest with me when he needed help in class. I remember him very fondly, even visited him a few times when I moved on to high school, honestly it's a bit of a shitty situation to be in so I relate to Rachel's embarrassment a lot, and I have to say that I really appreciate how Glee handled this. I remember watching Pretty Little Liars and romanticizing Aria's and Ezra's relationship, it's such a harmful thing for young audiences and could put them at risk, so I personally did like this storyline for it's message.

@@alexisking7740 Push it was Rachel's idea it only happened because of her. Will was good to Rachel, perhaps too good, he always gave her the solos and gave her more of the limelight than the other Glee Clubbers.

@@theyoshifankid So what he still punished her and not the others.Also he often challenged her in from of the other which si bad form. He didn't even call on her when she raised her hand. It is a flat out lie he always gave her the solos. It was episode 10 before he gave her her first real solo and then took it back and made her compete for it using bias judges. Also when she complained she did NOT get the song. The first sectionals the kids decided who sang, the second and third sectionals she did not sing at all. And one time she wrote the songs the group picked so they choose she sang again.

@@GA-fn8hr well 2nd sectionals they actually decided to make everyone shine (and Rachel did complain) and 3rd sectionals she wasn’t even there. and even if there’s still s1 regionals where they did group numbers and i think the god awful mashup had her as lead, s2 regionals and nationals had her as lead for solos/duets (and s2 regionals she was the lead in loser like me) and s3 had her singing here’s to us at regionals and finally, nationals she sang the solo and half of paradise by the dashboard light with finn. also on mr shoe being a bad teacher don’t do you remember when santana was being rude and he kicked her out of glee club but when Rachel sent sunshine to a crack house he did nothing?

Its been 9yrs.. i had a crush on my senior year Math teacher (God i hate math but he makes everyday so safe and meaningful so i always go to class) although hes married I made him my inspiration as a student. I secretly admire him from a distant because i know its inappropriate .. In this scene, Will walks into the Choir Room to find Rachel sitting there with flowers. Rachel says, "Mr. Shuester. I'm ready when you are. The ballad I've selected has am important message that I'm anxious for you to hear." Will says to her, "Rachel, I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to stop you." He pauses for a moment while Rachel looks at him. He goes, "the way you've been acting is inappropriate. I'm your teacher, Rachel, and I'm sorry, but that's all I'm ever gonna be." Rachel continues looking at Will as she says, "I know." She takes the flowers and says, "I brought these for you as an apology. And the song I was gonna sing was, 'Sorry Seems to Be The Hardest Word' by Elton John, 'cause I know how much you love him." She goes back to her seat and continues, "I'm such an idiot. Mooning over you and cleaning your apartment." "Hey," Will says as he makes his way over to sit beside her, "it's okay." As Will sits, Rachel turns her face away from Will and cries quietly. Will tells her, "I know it's not always easy for you, Rachel. And I know that there are some things about yourself that you think you'd like to change. But you should know that there's some boy out there that's going to like you for everything you are, including the parts of you that you don't even like. Those are the things he's gonna like the most." Rachel finally looks at Will, nods and says, "thanks, Mr. Shue." Will inhales and says, "what do you say, we ditch rehearsal today?" Both Will and Rachel chuckle. Will gets up and tells her, "I gotta be honest, Rachel. You never really needed much help with your ballads. You've been knocking them out the park since day one." Then Rachel gets up, as Will takes his bag and the flowers and they both walk out together. "Do you like them?" Rachel asks him. Will smells the flowers and responds, "they're great."
