That's the thing about Ireland..there are still people today that believe in "the other world " and be Christian. Thectwo run along side each other. Now granted, its diminishing..but still there. Naturally it's more prevalent in the countryside as opposed the towns and cities, but a lot of us heard these stories as small children from our grandparents sitting around the fireside in the dark. That leaves its mark on a child's mind. It cultivates a very healthy respect for the land and its traditions....

@laetitialogan2017. Thankyou for saying this. I fear for the tripe that's being taught (brainwashed) the kids today. It's a shame that stories like this is deleted & along with it, our traditions. Do children of the 21 century even have the respect or know the value of people connection, especially in a non violent nature. I fear not.

It’s always weird to me when people find it sus that Christians see God as the maker of nature and natural cycles. Why would we automatically reject and exclude them just because they predate the nativity of Christ, when we regard him as uncreated and eternal? It’s a false dichotomy.

@@chosen_ones777 That's a Buddhist way of thinking. It's called enlightenment.
@chosen_ones777 Жыл бұрын
@@sarinapoe3895 I thought enlightenment had nothing to do with thinking but everything to do with experiencing/observing/acting/not acting. To be everything. Cause enlightenment has nothing to with a way of thinking. Absolutely nothing. It's a way of existing. To do what has to be done and not talk to much about it. To allways act, or remain passive, in the highest good of all of space and not talk to much about it. To not talk about doing good. Just doing good. Guess that's more divinity than just plain enlightenment. But as everything else regarding our behaviour it's nothing but speculation and theorizing (is that even a word? Or did something uncontrolled like the urge to sneeze interrupt (zen??)? Only I know. (the right answer is the latter )).

@chosen_ones777 Жыл бұрын
@@sarinapoe3895 No, meditation is all about 100% being in the moment and situation (if peeling an orange that's the only activity existing and so on) just observing and not labelling anything cause when meditating you're without thoughts. In other words. Meditation has to be practiced all our awaken hours. Have just had my 40 years anniversary on meditating. Yes, we were a small group of 3 "friends" (we only get very few, if any, true friends through life. People we can allways trust) who started together on the Tantra course "Inner Peace" in November 1982. Fuck how time flies but it doesn't matter since we're eternal and time doesn't really exist. It's only another illusion we're submitted to. The course involved out of body and other exiting meditations like remote viewing, which is a result of out of body meditation. To be honest with you, I don't give a shit what Buddha or any other "prophet" has achieved and how. I've got all knowledge inside and so have you. No prophet can teach us anything we don't allready instinctly know. But have to go now. Must do the evening meditation/prayer now. It'll take a little more than an hour. It's 10 past 15pm and I have to get up at 5am tomorrow. Happy New Year. Love and blessings from Denmark.

It was the start of the year in our old Celtic lands, and we'd be waiting... in our houses of wattles and clay. The barriers would be down, you see, between the real and the unreal, and the dead might be looking in... to sit by our fires of turf. Halloween... the festival of Samhain! The last great one took place three thousand years ago, when the hills ran red... with the blood of animals and children. Sacrifices. It was part of our world... our craft. Witchcraft. To us, it was a way of controlling our environment. It's not so different now... it's time again. In the end... we don't decide these things, you know... the planets do. They're in alignment, and it's time again. The world's going to change tonight,, I'm glad you'll be able to watch it. And... happy Halloween.

Said by people who just wanted to grind their racism at any opportunity 🙄as was said in the programme (for those who didn't bother watching) The Celts arrived in Ireland about 2000 years ago... not 3. And although there is physical evidence of the people who had lived their thousands of years before them, they didn't record what happened to the people they displaced. A few easy to spot by the colour of their skin can hardly be accused of being about to exterminate the whole Celtic people of Ireland? Even the most fevered, racist mind, surely??? When you think how many Irish have emigrated to other countries the rank hypocrisy from the Irish of all people,to complain when a few people come to visit Ireland is quite something.more like the Ireland of my experience rather than the cheery,blarmey old Irish theme pub culture that'd pumped out especially in film for the Americans, since the 90's.
