The historical walled city, Lahore, was once a part of India. It was the capital of Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh's empire. It has been named after Hindu God Ram's son Luv. The father of modern Lahore was a Hindu architect Sir Ganga Ram. Lahore became a prosperous city because of Hindu traders and businessmen. During partition of India in 1947, Jihadis in Lahore murdered countless Hindus and Sikhs. There is hardly any Hindu or Sikh left in Lahore now. All Hindu temples have been demolished. Lahore has lost its charm now. Pathetic, outrageous and shameful.

@@Maverick-zo4kc your information is partially correct, you are correct about the history in terms of Sir Ganga Ram & Luv, but as far as your comments on jihadi & natives of Lahore are incorrect, Lahore's annexed with Pakistan was not done by fight but it was peacefully annexed to Pakistan by Sir Lord Mount Baton, and it's really peaceful city, one of my neighbours is a sikh family, and 2 Hindu families reside I our street, and we live happily with each others, there are many Hindu temples here in Lahore which are still active and are used by Hindus for their religious rituals, your comments are not correct, i will not blame you, but the information you have got are not correct. The Ground Realities are different than that of what you think. I will request you to please come, visit Lahore. And you will be astonished to see it, you'll be amazed by our Hospitality and love. Please correct your information about Pakistan. Respect from my side.
