Hello my friend! Can you help me? I have one question. I've had a G2 master for a few days now and I'm very satisfied with it. The quality is excellent and it's as fast as a bullet. Now... While I'm driving I hear some whining noise coming from the front and rear motor area(at low speed) which I heard on your video at 1 min and 36 sec. Is that normal or not? Thank you in advance

I'm glad to see they sorted out the problem and that Kugoo is improving. For example, indicators switch compared to M4/M4pro looks much better, but I think there is still work to be done. But ok, at least it lokks lije they'll get there and they're not using the cheapest possible parts anymore.

33mph is my sweet spot for the g2 master. Ive got the 1st version and over 33mph the wobble gets too much but i very rarely push it to the limit for an extended period of time. I think ive got a slight bend in the front disc because whatever adjustments i make to the brake i get a tinging noise when turning left and right. Overall im very happy with the g2 master. The thing i love the most is how much torque it has. She just loves to climb hills. Another great review, thank u 👍

Thank you for the support! Brake discs can bend very easily (almost every scooter has this minor issue) you can bend the disc slightly back or and adjust the brake calliper. Nothing to worry about though! Glad you are enjoying the Master.

I own this scooter before I had a iENYRID ES60 the steering column broke in 2 days when reaching a fast pace it wobbles the thing was also heavy and big.This scooter here is perfect in my opinion does the job great battery lasts

Ignition keys, NFC keys can easily be bypassed. A good strong lock and even deflating your wheels is a good deterrent.

Also I noticed like most e scooters that the wheels are unbalanced when they spin faster, the tyre valve on one side of the wheel is a weight so naturally the wheels vibrate when going faster. Youll see this if you place the scooter on a paint bucket and hit the throttle, the vibrations are horrible, this also effects the top speed and motor efficiency. To fix this I got a 10g and 5g car wheel balancing weights and jammed them in one of the small square gaps on the motor hub, position them opposite valve. Now try again with the throttle and see a huge difference

Quick tip here is to completely deflate the wheel first, rub a small of dish soap around the rim, inflate to around 60psi then let out air and get it to around 45-50psi These tyres are mass produced and they cannot completely be 100 balanced during assembly. Also when you have the scooter raised, there will naturally be an imbalance because there is no weight on the scooter. Why you ride, you won’t even notice.

I ride g2 master for past 3 weeks. In my opinion drive in single mode it feels like back wheel is underpowered and in dual mode my front wheel always loosing traction for short time. Conclusion: g2 master with 2000 watt rear wheel and 1000watt in front it just wher it should be.

Nice video. I have been debating buying the g2 master over the g3 pro for 2 weeks now. Even considered the identical Ausum gallop to g3 pro. I plan to use it for slight commuting maybe 1-2 days, and mainly recreational. I sway more for the g2 master for the lighter weight, but the g3 pro has may nice features as well including removable battery, better brakes, etc. would you be able share any input ?

I just got my G2 Master here in eastern Canada and it is speed limited to 60km an hour. I had it up on a block to test this and sure enough with no weight on it it topped out at 60km an hour. My tires also seemed unbalanced the cause the scooter to vibrate and the have a little wobble to each of them. I also have no idea how anyone would attach that free bag as I see no way to do it unless you have the stem at its lowest position. I like the regenerative breaking it saves the brakes a bit and I also like that you can quickly lock it to 25kmh if the police are around by simply holding down the left break and quickly pressing the power button twice. I do not have the version you have as under the bottom of my stem there is no hex head nut. Ordered mine through Kukirin's US website which had stock in Canada. Paid $1500cdn

Great review! On the website it says 20° climb ability, but I've seen people reporting being up to 30°. Is it tho? I'm torn between the G2 Master and G3 Pro (35°)because there's a 400 euro difference between them and where I live there's a lot of steep hills. Any advice apreciated,thanks!

Both are very similar. G3 Pro has the removable battery which is a bonus. It’s much bigger than the Master. Both are great scooters though and hills are no issue

Looks like I also got the v2. Motor casings on the V1 and V2 look different too. Strange mine came with orange reflectors instead of the bright orange plastic bits on the swing arms. Haven't seen any other videos or pictures of anyone's else like this.

@@Wayne55231 motor casings don’t worry about. They have zero impact. Also never mind cosmetic changes like colours on reflectors. Most updated versions have a few minor differences to distinguish between which version you have so nothing to worry about.

kukirin g2 max vs g2 master? I live in NYC, no need for steep hills. It seems like the biggest pro for the master is dual motor which would help with steep hills. Otherwise, it goes 3 miles faster, 37mph vs the max 34mph. Seems negligible, would the max be better for me and I'll save 350 bucks?

Most local stores from what I’ve seen have a mark up of around €200. Official Kukirin supplier is cheaper plus I have discount code in the description for the G2 Master and the G3 Pro. G3 Pro is bigger plus the removable battery but of course is around €300 extra. Power wise, the are more less identical.

@@Movelectrics Thx I ended up picking up a brand new sealed boxed G2 Master for 860 euro from a private owner. The g3 pro was a bit too flashy (too much orange), its also was heavier and didn't have the adjustable height in the bar stem. Overall very happy with it, It does come with cheapo mechanical disc brakes which I'm swapping out for "nutt" hydraulic brake, also increasing the standard 120mm brake discs to 140mm for for stopping power. Also tonight I had the idea of waterproofing the scooter further by sealing up all the gaps in the deck, screws, plastics gaps, wire holes and also the motor hub were they split in half with black silicone. Plus one thing I always suggest, even when buying a new scooter or bike always check every bolt is tight, don't trust the factory it comes out of, I found on my new G2 master 2 loose brake disc bolts, rear shock swing arm bolt was loose, and bolts on the front motor wasn't tight. Eventually when the warranty is up ill be replacing the controller with a 35amp one to get the scooter up to 85+ kph lol.

To be honest, save a bit more. G2 Master is great value. If you get a scooter that’s cheap, I can guarantee you will want a higher spec scooter in a few months.

No bluetooth function on Kukirin scooters. Everything can be customised through the display using the P-settings. Default setup is perfect though.

Pretty sure they are just using a generic display that has a Bluetooth setting, but the scooter itself doesn't support it. Most of them have a Bluetooth symbol on the screen, but no kukirin scooter actually has Bluetooth.

@@ares9304 I’ve only come across these displays in Kukirin scooters and saw them on another non-popular brand. In my experience, apps that come with scooters are most of the time pointless. You can 100% do everything through this display.

@@Slipper-04 e-005 is undervoltage protection (aka the battery isnt putting out enough voltage to the controllers and motors and needs charge) The battery still shows a few bars because it doesnt fully discharge to empty, just until a certain undervoltage cutoff. If this is happening extremely quickly after charging to full you may have a defective battery or something.

What is your stance when going that speed? I always use the back foot rest with my right leg for stability on any scooter. Have me left foot forward. This your first scooter?

I ride in goofy stance ever since my skateboard days and I also keep my back foot(left one) on the foot rest, but I will have to test it again by trying to plant it more firmly and see if it wobbles again. Its my first personal scooter, but I have about 1k km on Lime scooters.

Did you look underneath the front swing arm? Does it have hex screw? Like I show in this video? If it does, it’s the second version. Never buy scooters from AliExpress though unless you are 100% certain it is a legitimate company. The official Kukirin site is linked in the description.

Hi thanks for you review.. i have a problem with battery, when is full charge it show on display V61,6 and when i ride like today after 22km the battery bar is full. they tell me to change P02 to 48 and after i charge full i have again voltage 61,6 and somethime 68,8. can you tell me what is the problem. thanks

@@konobargogo I’m assuming you accidentally changed settings? P02 should be 52 as the G2 Master is a 52v scooter. Full charge will display 58.8 give or take .1.2 P03 should be 100 P04 should be 30

@@konobargogo 48 is incorrect. 52 is correct for P02 for the G2 Master. Forget the battery bars. Voltage is more accurate.

Hi, here in France many many V4 (watch on the side of the cardboard) have the same issues. If you got it natively, without playing with setting, it's a common default of the Lcd screen which is according to Kugoo, wrongly calibrated. It doesn't not come from the scooter, just a series of Lcd screen which is badly calibrated. Here we're sent a new accurate Lcd screen. At the correct norm (59 V max). According to Kugoo, it's safe to ride with it, no issue, just a clock telling you the wrong time.

G2 Master if you want good power for hills and torque. It’s smaller than the G4 so it’s easier take around the city for example.
