have you tried The Glenlivet Triple Cask Matured White Oak Reserve and how does it against this and 12yo ?

Haven't tried the White Oak. The 12 has more lemon citrus and oak and the Distiller's Reserve more malt and vanilla.

Oops sorry I thought you were asking about the 14 Cognac cask. To me the price of the Distiller's Reserve is a little high compared to Scotch of similar quality.
