Next trip to total wine, look out for the glenmo palo cortado finish. It has a 12 year age statement, ~$90, I would recommend it

Glad to see a new video. This might be a good one to let sit for a few months and poke it again. Almost every bottle I open I am let down and question my purchase but when I go back I really enjoy them much more. Send me a sample LOL

Good honest video. I’m a fan of Glenmo but I don’t really jump on anyone’s special releases because you can deduct that it’ll be a departure from what you normally enjoy from them. I’m sure there are many exemptions to this but I have to at least research before I shell out my hard earned money. That’s why I appreciate reviews like yours. Good thing is there’s always a bunch of great bottles out there to enjoy. Cheers!

Home Run review fellas! As much as I am disappointed that the juice was not hitting the mark, telling it like it is, that is what makes S4D reviews the best! Will be saving the $ for the next 3 finger pour! Cheers!🥃

It seems to me that just like with a bunch of Ardbeg special releases and Laphroaig Cairdeas much could be gained if the weren't so nas young. Same whiskies @ 12, 15, or even 10 years old might be quite balanced and nice. More often than not, green wood and a strong spiciness at young age are to be regarded as flaws in Scotch whisky. When the rubber hits the road I'd rather have an awkward-smelling whisky with a suprisingly good taste than vice versa. 🙂

Some tough scores on this. I would agree, it should be priced lower, but Scotch continues to be priced high!

I absolutely did not like this one at all. Honestly out of the series I only liked the Tale of Cake. Cheers fellas.
