How did no one not have Glenn's HEAVIEST album ever in their 6-pack? It's Voodoo Hill's ''Wild Seed Of Mother Earth'' from (2004). It was one of 3 albums that Glenn collaborated with Dario Mollo (the guitarist). The other 2 are called Voodoo Hill from 2000 and Waterfall from 2015. Tony Martin also collaborated with Dario Mollo on several amazing albums too. Other great Glenn Hughes albums that were not mentioned are: Gary Moore - Run For Cover (1985) Glenn Hughes - Addiction (1996) John Norum - Face The Truth (1992) Trapeze - Medusa (1970) Eighth Star Demos/The 1996 Dep Sessions (2004) (With Tony Iommi)

Face the Truth is a great record, I have both versions that have a different track listing. Addiction is also great heavy record, I liked Building the machine as well, more of a funky record.

‘Phoenix Rising’, is my favourite song. ‘Kiss Of Fire’ & ‘Still The Night’ are great songs, but on the latter, the Keyboards are way too high, the guitar mostly buried in the mix. Glenn sings great throughout and lifts most of the other material out of mediocrity. Overall the mix hasn’t aged well and I would like to see the whole album remixed. Cozy Powell’s drums mostly relegated to sounding like polystyrene egg boxes, and please dial back the reverb wash every track.

No doubt, not only is Glenn still rockin' he's one of the best out there doing it, still kickin' azz @71 years young! That alone speaks volumes knowing many have tried yet few have accomplished. Especially as far as vocalist's are concerned, Hughes sounds just as good today as he did back in the day. \m/(*.*)\m/ +++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friend+++

Man what an animal! In answering the question about the guy being the voice of rock, he gave us a little sliver of vocalization, and even that was amazing and more clean than most can do at the drop of the hat. Not to mention his awesome energy. Many props boys!!

Always lovely to here Glenn, although he will get into some trouble for saying that Tony Iommi was from the Black Country and it is heresy to say that Brummies (from Birmingham) are the same as those from the Black Country, especially when it comes to the stereotypical accents. Seventh Star was an absolute classic and I remember the first moment that I tentatively placed the needle down, not knowing what to expect, only to be met with the pounding riff of In For The Kill, followed by the astonishing No Stranger to Love and more. Glenn's voice was ideally suited to Sabbath, even though few would have predicted it beforehand.

LA Guns toured with Ted,,,,,,,,,both bands came to our resturant Mesquite Charlies after the Pensacola show,,,,,,,we had a Blow out. Ted went ballistic in a Renta-car in the parking lot,,,,,must have been 1994 i think. Ted would haul ass behind the resturant out of site of us,,,,you could hear tires raising hell,,,,,then he would come from behind the resturant either going forward or reverse,,,,,hauling ass,,,,do some 360's and haul ass back behind the resturant,,i wish we had video back then like we do today,,,, according to Ted, 3 things to FEAR,,,a Sow Grizz with Cubs,,,A Coiled Cobra and Ted Nugent in a Renta-Car

I am honestly ready to go back home to Arizona but I’ve got to get a good safe and dependable RV to pull a in closed trailer with my truck and motorcycle in it because you have to be rich to live there. But livid in a RV I’d be able to save money and how buy some land and get it cleared of snakes and scorpions and spiders and get electric fence 7 feet below ground and build a wall all the way around to entrance and have electric fence going up the outside of the wall to fry some critters trying to get under or over the wall!!! And have just a 100 x100 Metal barn on a cement slab making sure it secured and insulated and central heating and AC have solar power and propane to run a generator to keep everything going and use solar power during the night and make sure I have them lythum batteries and enough so I don’t ever have to worry about ever being with out power and under pole barn have a secret bunker/ house because it’s not going to be cold or hot it stays 50/55 degrees so it will be a place to get to when it gets bad out but I definitely want the barn built strong and sealed up because August is the worst month in buckeye Arizona!!!

My copy of the Dead Daisies "Holy Ground" sounds awful. I pre-ordered it and was so excited to learn Glenn was in the band, but man the mix kills it for me. His vocals are almost completely buried and the bass sounds louder than every other instrument and it just sounds muddy. I still have have it, but can't say I listen to it.

My wife went to see Melissa Etheridge on Weds night. She said they were advertising the Nuge the next night. She pointed it out to her sister and said boy they couldn’t be further opposite of each other. I’ve not seen Ted and to be honest, I really don’t want to hear the politics even though I agree with him on most things. By the same token, I haven’t gone to see Steve Earle because I don’t want to listen to him preach the left’s side of politics. I don’t want to hear it from either side. I go to shows to get away from that shit for s couple hours. Saw King’s X last night and there was no agenda even though Dug’s gay. Nobody cares. Well, I should say he did say legalize weed around the world, so… 😂
