We have seen a lot of aging rockers these days, those singers, who can't hit their high notes anymore. But this guy still can! Glenn Hughes was such a big force in Deep Purple with his bass playing and singing. His voice especially in "Burn" really does burn! IMHO, he's highly underrated when it comes to belting out tunes.

It's almost surreal that Glenn can still hit those extreme high notes 50 years later and arguably sings better than ever, while every other rock vocal hero from the 70's struggle to sing their songs in the same key, even when they don't have any excessive soprano stuff in them.

Not "every other rock vocal hero". Paul Rodgers voice still sounds EXACTLY like it does on his recordings. So does Sammy Hagar. Just to name a couple.

I get blown away every time I hear Glenn hitting those high notes… and right in key! He’s got 10 years on me, I never smoked, but I know my voice couldn’t shred like that now, despite being a trained vocalist for several years (I stopped singing and doing my vocal exercises after having a serious mountain bike accident). I hope that this is a sign of "Black Country Communion" is getting back together. I heard rumors. They are definitely one of the greatest and most talented rock bands that ever were. A super group. I just hope that if it happens Glenn doesn't let his ego get in the way. He has a habit of trying to out do everyone else in the band. He walked all over Joe's leads with bass leads. Don't get me wrong , he is an amazing vocalist and bass player. For his age he is phenomenal.
