Living in Chicago and suburbs for 45 years blessed me to go to Cornerstone and see people and music in God I could enjoy and relate to. Thank you for the teaching through people and music. I've come a long way in Christ since I was young due to brothers and sisters, and above all Jesus Himself.

I have so enjoyed this set. They are so tight together on this show. Bass lines and guitar solos are so sweet and Glen’s voice is so passionate and soulful. I love these guys and nice to get a little vintage Rez in there too.

Roy Montroy the bass player is the reason I got into playing bass. I and a few guys stayed at JPUSA one weekend in April 1986. We were going to have them play in Albert Lea MN the next week and I didn't see or hear anything untoward or wrong the whole time I spent with them in Chicago or AL. They were professional and Christ-like which is more than I can say about some folks who passed thru the coffeehouse we had in AL and played for a few minutes acting like they were all that. I know since I booked the music for the coffeehouse and dealt with all the things one does to put on a concert.

I love hard rock. Resurrection Band (Rez) has delivered hard rock HARDER, LOUDER, LIVER-ER, and LONGER than ANY other band out there. You put Jesus first and it shows. God can out jam any devil band.

Glenn, I was wrong, I have the 2013 Cornerstone GKB concert, or at least that's the one I listened to a dozen or more time. I also have the 2012 show. I'm not sure how much I listened to the 2012 show. I just am more aware of the 2013 show because you said on the audio that it is the last Cornerstone festival. I hope you find other avenues to spread your music. That might mean there may never be another Rez reunion. Sad. Anyway, stay healthy Glenn, Ed, Roy, and your families, JPUSA, etc.

A cover tune (by whom, I do not recall). Glenn still has it going on musically after all these years. The fact that he kicked me out of Cornerstone in 1991 left a bad taste in my mouth, but I'll never stop liking his music.

+Mark Pettigrew why did he kick you out Mark?

Joel Stevens IMHO, because I had the audacity to tell him that I thought pastors were not exempt from criticism. I like Glenn's talent, but that left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Mark, I know a guy in Jacksonville, FL who used to set up a booth at the flea market on the weekend. He tole me how he tried to get Wendi Kaiser to shake his hand once after a concert. I think she blew my friend off and ignored him. This was back in the 80's. Anyway, this guy was still stung and hurt and resented the HELL out of how he felt Wendi SNUBBED him at that time. I will only say that I'm glad to some extent that I've never met Glenn Kaiser or members of REZ and so I have never been disappointed by these people who are only human, and who may try to avoid public interactions, who knows. It's so hard to make music, to write it, to create it, to make it work musically. It's so hard to put a sermon together, studying, planning, etc. To an extent pastors and musicians and the like are PERFORMERS who have brought something for us to consider, to enjoy, to be blessed from. It's very hard for strangers to make a satisfying connection. How many inspired handshakes can a person make. How many people can a person stand to meet after a live show, when you are tired, when you have already given so much from the pulpit or from the stage. I'm just saying, I understand how you feel. Real people are much removed from who we THINK THEY ARE. Maybe the band members think we don't look cool, or handsome/pretty or even intelligent. We might seem like CREEPS to them after they just came off a stage as Christian ROCK STARS. It's hard to SHIFT GEARS. And as far as CRITICISM, you do know how HARD it was for REZ to make it as a band don't you with so MANY record labels, Star Song, Light Records, Sparrow and then they started their own record label GRR Records. Those record labes had an idea of what Christian Music should sound like musically. ROCK was considered something of the FLESH, like SEX or something. Rez paved the way for a flood of no name bands that have little talent but do well enough because the resistance to such bands playing for Christ has melted away. Rez was in many cases a MARTYR for bands that would follow them. Glenn and Rez would NOT be SHAMED by conservative or anally clenched Christians who were afraid of rock and roll guitar solos and vocals.

I have met Glenn on multiple occasions. He is very humble, a true servant in every way. Sorry for your experience. Mine was quite different.

Glenn, I have this recording. I probably listened to it a dozen times. Love the preaching too. I sooooo hope you keep making music and get covered by video and audio as you continue to spread God's message of love and redemption through your Godly inspired music. You have a real gift. Your music has blessed my life. God keep this man strong and healthy. Where can I get a DVD of this concert???
