Glenn Tilbrook - Dolly My Love (The Moments cover)

So .... This weeks cover is an adaptation of the fine song by The Moments, ‘Dolly my love’. I’ve been enjoying the Moments music for the last few years, and it was a toss up between ‘Dolly’ and ‘Jack In The Box’. They both have something that I really like, a little twist in the melody or chord sequence that is unexpected. The chorus has two different sets of chord changes, for instance, which shouldn’t work but does! Featuring what by now might be a familiar cast of characters to you, Louis Tilbrook on Drums, myself on Bass and Vocals, Leon Tilbrook on Electric Guitar, Wesley Tilbrook on Hammond Organ, Chris McNally on Piano and engineering, Carly Dexter-Fry, Sal Ridsdale and Suzanne Tilbrook on brilliant BVs.
