Glenn Tilbrook - Lovely Day (Bill Withers cover)

So...This weeks cover is a very respectful version of the lovely Bill Withers song ‘Lovely Day’. It’s crossed my mind before that perhaps the subject of the song is the same as the Lou Reed song ‘Perfect Day’. It’s an unsubstantiated claim, for sure! Featuring the fine Tilbrook family band, namely Louis Tilbrook on Drums and Woodblocks, Me on Bass, vocals and assorted percussion, Leon Tilbrook Guitar and vocals, Wesley Tilbrook on Wurlitzer Piano, Chris McNally on the superfine Prophet Synthesiser and engineering, Carly Dexter-Fry on the wonderful and time consuming video edit AND vocals and yes, that is Sal Ridsdale and Suzanne Tilbrook joining in with full heart and soul for which I am very grateful.
