Brings back memories! Owned a 1979 one in 1985. Single screw was rough to dock but we were on an oversize canal in Port Charlotte. This one is identical with same interior colors. Hard to beat out storms but had a great time in the Peace river and the gulf. Good luck with it.

I just got the same boat for free ...delivered! Needs a new motor and some love, but its all stuff I have great experience with so, I’m happy.

I have the same boat I pulled out the engine fuel tank and fiberglass the transom put an out bracket on it with a 150 hp Yamaha thing handle sweet. If I had to do it again I would’ve put a door bracket on it and put two 150s on it. I still get up on plane had the boat for 15 years.

The exterior looks great , the interior not so much. Big project for sure, but it will be worth it with a bit of luck . Hopefully the engine is as new as they said. I've used some Zep products (degreaser, mildew remover ) and they all performed very well.

My wife is chomping at the bit to make new curtains, was looking at fabrics even before we bought the boat. I have taught myself to do upholstery and I have am industrial walking foot sewing machine and a decent place to work upstairs at my shop. Great winter project, this weekend I need to move it to it's parking place, clean out the engine bay and work on getting it running... Once it runs, the rest is game on! I do see that the boat has been re-Gel coated above the waterline.

These are good boats but unfortunately out of style. When restored they don't have great resale value. You are doing it for yourself. Good luck. I had it's little brother.

I know this is an old post, but man I hope you didnt pay for that boat,, its junk, maybe you can strip it to the hull and start new,, but your talking a ton of money, you can buy a nice running boat like that, now,,, 2020 for around 9-10 k, in nice shape, less for a mild project, I dont see any updated vids, so Im assuming you bailed,
