I like Gley and would like to say a lot but think Valby is a better designed class. Gley is a selfish DPS class that doesn't really act like she is a vampire. What kind of vampire gets knocked around so easily and her skills are clunky to use and can kill her. Valby can farm and DPS and her skills are simple and effective with worrying if it will kill her. If you want difficult to play just so you can speed burn a boss, and that is only going to be solo since bosses scale to group size, then play Gley. She still looks very nice in dusk stalker outfit with head 2 choice. Hope they do something to improve this failed vampire.

Before getting Hailey i used Ult Gley with massive sanguification and i thought that Gley will be the best bossing descendant and i even said that if you have Ult Gley you don't need Hailey but i was so wrong.The build is similar to what i use on Gley and it works just fine,your video is great and offers a lot of explanation on how to use it and where to use it but i must say that after i maxed out Hailey i completely forgot about Gley.Hailey is to bossing what Bunny is to mobbing.

Exact same for me. Had maxed gley, then built Haley and realized she pretty much makes gley obsolete for bossing unfortunately. Maybe that will change with future updates but right now Hailey is in a tier of her own for bossing.

Try using Hailey against Gluttony. Since you can't move while during your sniper shots, you will be caught standing still and just get 1 shotted!

I find Gley to be very tanky, even in frenzy mode. Starting to get better with her, but its taking a while. But her skills are weird and confusing. Unless you have her fully built her skills suck.

For that second build with 10 secounds of duration: You can use a rank 6 Nimble Fingers instead of max ranked one. That way, you will increase your cooldown but also you wont have to worry about recasting your ability "early" even if you see your ability is out of cooldown.

For my Def mod I use on the firearm build shield conversion DEF since even tho Gley doesn't have shields it still will convert you shield amount to DEF this will give 166.8% DEF at max

Hey @KnightmareFrame and all ppl reading this, may i ask a little stupid question as a not owner of gley till now? If i play the massacre build and fighting a boss i am recasting my 3 and lowering my HP more and more, right? How do i manage this, if i lets say fuck up killing adds for my orbs? Sometimes i see Gleys in my grp healing up, but no adds are there and no supporter in our Grp. Did i miss any magic trick, or am i just dumb and didnt understand something till now? The normal way is to switch out of her frenzy and use her second skill to absorb hp from surrounding enemies. The move used to be bugged and could be used on the environment in intercept battles but was fixed. You can still get kills in frenzy state and generate life orbs then switch to normal state and use her 2nd skill to absorb the orbs. Also many co-op Gley build usually includes hp collector.

To heal as a Gley you must rely on red HP heal orbs (both normal drops and the special meter orb). Turning off frenzy to pick 2 or more big HP drops is worth the 10% HP cost of turning back frenzy on. Don't forget that being in frenzy reduce your healing by 50% and you take 10% more dmg. The Gleys you've seen probably had HP drops and turned off their frenzy for a big burst of healing. Pillars in intercept missions used to count as enemies and you could heal off them with your 2 in non-frenzied state but it has been removed before season 1. Playing Gley is mostly about juggling your HP effectively, having enough HP to tank some hits and cast your skills and low enough to have extra dmg on massacre, tight rope and annihilation set. - Turn off frenzy when you see a lot of healing on the ground for a big healing burst. - If you have mass. sang., turning off frenzy right after casting your 2 deals the dmg AND does the healing. Press skill 2 then press skill 1 immediatly. Only use this if there's more than 4 enemies for a net 5% max hp heal. - It is also a common issue that we Gleys stack too much CD/duration. We want duration just slightly higher than CD. EX: If you have 9.6 sec duration on lethality and a 7 sec CD and you cast your skill off CD that's 2.6 sec wasted of lethality and you lose 15% max hp more often. I prefer to have my CD slightly lower than duration so I can just spam it off CD basing on the skill icon rather than looking at that small green buff icon. edit: spelling

@@L1lN1nj4z Thank you very much for your detailed answer; now i finally understood her kit correctly; and also thx for explaining how to cd/duration. tbh i have adhd and till now i dodnt own gley, or better i didnt build her ( have farmed all ult parts ) cause i´m a bit nervous to manage her skills, have an eye on my HP, aim and see what´s happening around me and so on. It´s very hard for me to focus on multiple things and i could for example NEVER play something like Luna properly. The little buff icons are the hell for my old adhd brain and i do what you wrote; i just look for the skill icon and cast skills if they are rdy. So this cd/dur advice is a very good one for me. I would have build for more duration, but cast the skill instant when ready. Let´s see if Gley works for me, i will build her and see what will happen ✌

Asegurate de activar su primer skill y luego activas su segundo skill. Si activas su 2nda skill sin activar su primera, el 2ndo te regresa HP de los enemigos. Pero si activas el primer skill antes de usar el segundo, el segundo se convierte en ataque envez de recuperacion de HP. Tambien si activas el 3ro sin activar el primero, te have correr y moverte super rapido. Pero si activas el primero y luego el tercero se convierte en ammo infinito por sierto tiempo.

Why wasn't the tech with Massive Sanguification covered for her mobbing build? You can make Gley invincible by doing so, as she will have 20k+ HP and DEF with the right build and able to loop this tech. - 1 for Frenzy - Cast 2 while in Frenzy for AoE Burst in a 32m radius. Yes, it will hurt you a little to cast and then normally you get +3 special resource. - Instead of getting the special resource, right after the damage numbers are seen, use her 1 to cancel Frenzy. - This will then trigger the Heal per Target Hit instead of the resource generation. - As long as there are 3+ enemies, you will heal more than you self-drained as well as more than you're generally going to take. - Repeat (with multi-talanted mod and the right setup, you can instantly do this over and over again with no down time). With a larger group, you will always be at Max HP and with her huge HP pool and high DEF (possible RES too from components), you will never die. Even standing in the middle of dozens of enemies on the final wave of a defense mission or kuiper mining, you will survive and kill everything. Making this an amazing mobbing build. If you ever need to move quickly, drop frenzy and cast her 3 for a +30% movement speed buff. Not as amazing as Bunny and requires an extra step, but Gley has it. If there is a high priority target, she can still use her 3 in Frenzy for temp infinite ammo to finish it off (though won't be able to loop that as not built for it). Will also add that for all builds, they Slayer set far outstrips any other for DPS if using Massacre or her Mobbing build. The only reason to use the Annihilation set is if you're using a gun build, thus Skill DMG isn't needed. Annihilation does offer more survivability, as Gley cannot use the two Max Shield mainstats of the Slayer set, but the damage loss is quite large. Even with the Slayer set, she will generally have over 20k HP and often DEF to match, allowing for more than enough survivability. Further, Annihilation may say it has a high Firearm buff, but that buff is only maxed out if you can get down to -99.99% of her Max HP..... so you'll generally only get half the buff it offers. On reactor, again have to argue on the substat choice (for Massacre Builds). You DO NOT NEED CD Reduction on your substat. You can loop your infinite ammo just fine with the right build. For the same reason, you do not need Duration on your reactor. It is FAR more important to get Damage to Colossus as the main focus as that is the biggest damage buff to the build. After that, having more Non-Attribute or Dimension is generally the best thing (as the Python has little to no Crit Rate, so Crit DMG is pointless unless you always have an Enzo in your party). Just having one of these will help further boost the Massacre's skill power, which is 60% of the source of your DPS. So I'd say this guide, for once, is really off on both the Reactor and the Components. As well as not explaining the mobbing tech with Massive Sanguification that makes Gley invincible while clearing out things in a larger radius than even a Bunny using High-Voltage (that maxes out at 27m, Bunny still has speed if getting places is needed, still making her the best, but that's another thing....).

with the right build u need cd on ur reactor or u will have about 1.5seconds to recast ur 3. I dont know what build u got but I guess u have maximize duration which lowers ur sp modifier and u dont want to lower the modifier anymore as its very low already.

I wonder if you watch other KZbin videos before doing a wacky build on Gley? Mobbing or Bossing thy have insane builds, her ability clears Everything around every 3 seconds, and for bossing thy have her doing less than 30sec every boss in solo, so when your video starts with "she doesn't have to much going" I really don't know what you mean, anyway I used to make my builds from your videos, but eventually ended having to change them 😒, I love your content, I just wish you take more risk with your builds 😅

.... You said perfected, but it's not even perfect lol. Best reactor is python mounting non-attribute dimension with GOLD roll on skill duration preferably 0,106 and colossus damage. Then you'd want to put SPS on your python and maximize duration on gley which will give you 10 seconds ++ on your third skill with 100% uptime. SPS will make you a beast after you hold your trigger for 2 seconds.

In the video when he activates skills the name of what is being activated pops up. Can someone tell me how to make that function appear?? Sometimes icons will popup while im playing and i have no idea what the buff is? Im sure its a setting under the options menu but idk what it may be? THANK YOU!

Do keep in mind he is playing on pc. If you are as well then I wouldn’t know as I’m on ps5. So I can’t say that we have the same functions in our settings as him. But in my honest opinion just play around in the “gameplay” section or “accessibility” and I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. If you’re playing on pc as well that is.

tbh, i get ur point, especially since most ppl just focus on max dmg burst builds, and gley isnt actually all about that..shes the most versatile and QoL character to use tbh, u dont have to worry about ammo, so any weapon is viable (especially now buffed executor, which tbh i cant imagine using with anyone else beside gley) then u have healing, slight dmg buffs ect..ultimate version is pretty tanky overall, thx to 80% def boost, the only downside i could see, would be skill issue to properly alter between frenzy states

Use all the mods he used an you should be fine. Step 1. Activate frenzy Step 2. Activate 4th skill Step 3. Activate 3rd skill and fire Step 4. When the third skill runs out, STOP SHOOTING so you don't waste the ammo on the 4th skill. Step 5. Wait till 3rd skill comes back and continue shooting....rinse and repeat
