that exasperated sigh right at the start, I feel that I'm struggling mainly because I keep instinctively try to move the camera to keep up, since the minigame camera is awful, only to ruin my course because R stick also controls the bird for some godforsaken reason That and the non-inverted Y axis keep screwing me up

When you dived, how did you get so far back up again? I pressed up on the left D-Pad, but couldn’t get that high,she just stayed floating mid level & then gradually went back down. I can’t seem to get that high up once diving?

After an hour I finall[y got this done, best tip i can give is do not overcompensate on the right analog stick to level out the camera. Alot of times after you dive you will instinctively hold up on the left analoig stick and try lining the camera up mid air on right analog, and then not get enough air to get the next point. hard to explain just dont worry about lining up the camera after the nosedive, just hold up on the left analog until you pull up as high as you can and the camera will align itself at the peak of your flight.

I think the funniest part of this mini-game is that Yuffie's dialogue in the final cutscene is *always* _"Yeah, that was good. Could've been WAAAAAAY better, but whatever..."_ Even the game itself isn't expecting you to get the highest score.

Thank you SO MUCH for this. It still took me almost an hour to get a perfect score, but I couldnt even get past 3200 before watching this. The game does a terrible job of explaining how to "dive bomb" plus the camera for these flying sections is awful.

Thanks for this! I finally got it with your help. The biggest help for me was waiting until the first 300 at the beginning is all the way over to the right before holding R2 to launch. That seemed to line up the last stretch for me since they’re moving as well.

Same, the key for me was waiting right at the beginning of the mini game for the first 300 points to be on the far right. Otherwise I was falling short at the end all the time. Thanks for the tip!

God this game has the potential to be amazing with all the minigames. Unfortunately they felt like making half of them absolute garbage gameplay wise. This, the boxing minigame, and fort condor(probably my least favorite minigame of all time its just shitty clash royale) are all so bad, but they COULD have been good.

You make a valid point and of course welcome to your own opinion, in my case, it's 9/10, thoroughly enjoyed the game, the side quests got a bit annoying as some were painful, but there was a sense of achievement beating them. Grabbing the platinum was super tough but felt good!
