Glide Xpress Car Wash #12 Memphis Tennessee

This is Glides 12th location and 6th in the Memphis market. This site uses a combination of AVW equipment, Motor City Wash works, Sti Conveyor Systems, Laguna Industries, Macneil NCS, Eurovac Industrial and Innova Equipment MFG. This site was a 6 week total install time from start to finish for Innova and it turned out very well. This site does not utilize the Innova Equipment MFG Grill washer due to the tunnel length only being 104ft on the belt. However we still managed to fit 2 sets of wraps ( one entrance facing one exit facing) Two top brushes ( one entrance facing one exit facing) 2 sets of rocker brushes , High side van washers , Oscillating high pressure arch with wheel blasters and mirror rinse ,16 blowers , Tire shine machine as well as the Innova Equipment MFG Mud Blaster and Innova Equipment MFG AUTO BUG applicator. I’m really intrigued by your grill brushes! What makes Innova’s unique compared to sonnys/peco?

Innova's is a dual super HD arm design and uses zero pivot points on the arm. This is why we patented the arm type and the universal arm mounts on the legs for each one. This geometry combined with the arm mounts make this follow longer and roll off the vehicle rather than create bind points like peco and especially sonnys. Each arm on the Innova Grill washer is mandril bent can withstand 40k lbs of force before any bending is allowed. We wanted the unit to stop vehicles and not take damage like the others do when they get stuck on things that should not be going through the wash. I have witnessed these stop a full size ram 3500 mega cab on a belt that had a very large bush/grill guard that was not supposed to go through. NO damage was done to the grill washer or vehicle. At the same time they stay on the vehicle much more smoothly with far less bouncing and this allows for better dwell and scrubbing action for removing bugs and dirt from the front.
