Condolences to you, Selmar, on the passing of your beloved mother. She and I share the same birthdate. The painting of Jesus was painted on commission by Jesus Himself. It is Jesus of the Divine Mercy whose feast is celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. Jesus appeared to a Polish nun, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the mid 1930's. He gave her specific instructions as to how the painting should represent Him. Her vision is represented as you see it, with the words "Jesus, I trust in You" at the bottom , just as He requessted. Your demeanor and facial structure reminds me of his pictures and my Mom's brothers, all passed. I do not know you, but I think you are an authentically kind and empathetic person. Goodness to you❤
