here are my theories in how you got hit by poppy despite the distance. 1 : *_W I F I_* - this is usually how i get hit and/or die altogether. if your wifi lags while you are distracting or being chased long enough, it may get you hit. the same goes with machines. if your wifi lags as youre doing a machine and a skillcheck comes by WHILE your wifi is lagging, it will fail the skillcheck even if it looks like you completed it. 2 : *_H I T B O X_* - this is usually an issue when it comes to being chased by a twisted most of the time. ESPECIALLY when youre trapped in a tight space. hitboxes with twisteds are just a hit or miss.

If you look directly up and see a twisted on the bottom run immediately they are seconds away from getting to you if you have 4 or less movement speed (If you have Dog plush and speedy shoes the twisteds are slightly faster than you if you have 4 star movement)

While getting boxten mastery i can confirm u can distract with a starter, but only with speed trinkets and a whole lot of stamina items and you gotta break into a sprint often

I main glisten, usually when the distractor dies early or theres no distractor at all AND my team is in shambles i protect the ones with 1 or 2 hearts by leading the twisteds away from their hiding spot so yeah!! Distracting with glisten is fun!!

Fun fact, if you’re a Gigi, you can still distract as long as you have the right trinkets but every time they get too close, you have to sprint a bit and then start walking again

As a glisten main, in some situations where the distractor's either dead or low (which can be quite early in some public server runs...) Yes I do kite and yes, people start screaming in the chat. Glisten's stealth is actually quite good for distracting, its just his stamina and movement speed which can easily be fixed with pop and well calculated movement :D

I used Shelly (3 stars movement speed) to distract once. that time I forgot to change my trinkets so I got the distractor set (Speedy Shoes and Dog Plush) instead of my Magnifying Glass and the Award (Shelly's trinket) I have the same speed as normal Twisteds likely Boxten and Poppy, for Shrimpo and Finn I am a bit faster than them. I cannot be distracting Toodles or Shelly though it's pretty risky ( you can distract them but you will always need to reduce their speed) Ig you can distract Vee but you may need some distracting skills since Vee can slows you down so you need to keep a good distance from her if you're going to distract her. For Twisted Pebble, Idk abt that. If there's other good distractors in the round (like Flutter or Pebble) then one of you is going to distract him, however if there's no other distractors in the round. Don't distract Pebble for safety unless the other Twisteds is RnD or Rodger, Ig you can distraxt if you want to (you need to know how to aggro him first or else that won't work) try distracting other Twisteds in round more than Pebble would be better (I really recommended to distract others Twisteds but if you're going to distract Pebble then ONLY distract him cuz the other Twsiteds will get in the path of you distracting Pebble unless you reall good at this) and lastly, if you're actually gonna distract, use toons with 4 stars movement speed like Tisha (500 Ichor) or more is better than distracting as toons with 3 stars movement speed unless you really want a challenge. Okay too long, too long.
