Random Person I’m guessing you’re dealing with zoner spam? A lot of their projectile moves are not that quick and can be quite punishable, plus they are limited use. Try and bait out Arcfire and go around it when you bait it out, they are slow moving zoners (and one of the slowest characters in the game), they will not be able to keep up too well in close spaces versus a Rush-down character for example.

@@sazakrom106 I used to main Corrin, and while Pin got nerfed, it was nothing compared to her movement and aerial speed getting hit. She was already rather gimpable, but she just plain can't recover nearly as far as she used to be able to. Which is a same, because she's easily a solid sword character with a good, if fairish, moveset. Manuverability is just that important in Ultimate, and her disadvantage is among the worst for it.

Unfortunately corrin lacks speed and a solid recovery. But if she got a speed increase and a vertical up b distance buff she could ez be high tier. I'm so desperate for more Corrin in tournaments. I really like this character and think they have a lot of potential when in the right hands. I think Cosmo's is really the only notable Corrin out there, but he doesn't play them as much anymore :( I really don't know where the extreme resentment for Corrin came from from Smash players, and there are far worse character's to pick imo.

Considering the fact that Ultimate is extremely balanced, she IS trash tier. I've mained her in Smash 4 so unfortunately, I know what I'm talking about. The matchups itself seemed pretty even to me, so I wouldn't say he "got clapped". I don't know exactly how long Cosmos mained Corrin, but I think his experience with her sealed the deal here, as well as the non-existent matchup knowledge for Dabuz. One does not simply win with Ultimate Corrin, unless he has a certain amount of experience.
