I was curious, so I ‘researched’ who the character in this song’s picture is. A somewhat brief look through the comments and I find that her name is Rumia, and she is from the game series Touhou. Now that I know what it is, I can’t stop noticing Touhou references everywhere I go (tbh I’m not complaining). Now that I’ve seen so many references, it really makes me want to play a Touhou game which I am seriously considering (by the way if anyone actually sees this comment I would love a recommendation for which one to buy since honestly I know nothing about the series but I would love to ameliorate that). Not only has Hinkik made a great track that I absolutely adore, but they’ve also introduced me to a franchise I really want to know more about and I definitely think I’m going to like. If anything, for these two reasons alone, this is now my favorite song.

I feel the same, ever since I got into touhou back in 2021, I feel like I notice references to it almost everywhere on the internet no matter the time period the material was from. One of the most surprising moments I had was when a friend sent me a gmod video and I almost instantly noticed a song playing in it was a eurobeat remix of sariel's theme, remix being time will tell. Along with how later on in the video there was another eurobeat remix of what I think was mountain of faith's stage 4 theme. I even learned about a very short fanwork about a character form the series and that fanwork introduced me to a manga that has one of my favorite stories, that being girl's last tour. I really do love touhou for how much it has influenced my life
