Please keep pushing this Phixate & keep up the wholesome action packed content 👌 You and the others keeping DMZ alive may very well draw the attention of Activision/Microsoft, forcing thier hand like we just saw with Battlefield. With Battlefield recently updating the anti-cheat on a 8 year old title, this narrative could force Activision to step up or risk losing thier player base to games with more committed Devs while its still in the news cycle. Letting Billion Dollar Game developers get away with zero bug/anti-cheat/server support on games that released less then 5 years ago would never have flown 10 years ago and it sets a dangerous precedent going forward for gaming as a whole. Even if its a "free mode", people payed for skins and bundles they can't use so as intended. Long Live DMZ 🙏

I think season 1 was amazing only because it was season 1 and the player base was new and occupied with missions and hadn't yet realized PVP was the most fun part. I don't think the core mechanics were better than they are now.

@@User57655 i think the additions to the game such as the wallet, insured weapons slot, personal exfil, comms vest and advanced UAV were instrumental in creating an unbalanced game. They had something in season 1 and I think you may be correct with PVP to some degree but they made the game so much easier that there was no fear in losing gear. No struggle. It turned into WZ 2.5 with random items to collect. Without fear of losing it becomes less tactical. The good and poor decisions made in game have less value because of that.

As a normal "out of region" player I feel really bad about this. I really enjoy playing dmz the way it should be playing, but the reality is, at least half of our "out of region" players I met on our own discord app, know how to use the under barrel glitch, and the other half trying to learn how to use the glitch after seeing other people use the glitch. Don't get me wrong, there is still good amount of "out of region" players play it in normal way, but I can't deny it that players in my region have a bad tradition in gaming which is want to "win" the game in all cost instead of enjoying it. Previous pre made 6 men team is the same thing. Hacks, glitches, they will do whatever they can to achieve easy win. I do hope devs would spend a tiny little time to at least fix those glitches. And for another thing, "out of region" players love to go to EU severs (70% of them I guess), no in game comms, shoot on sight, only goal is to kill other players, if you want to enjoy a relative good game, US server is a better choice.

Yes I don't mind it either, but only because your loot hasn't been exfiltrated and so it's still at risk. That's the part that everybody forgets. Any mission items or good loot is now at risk.

We play on US servers from the UK. We’ve noticed that almost every player we come across has either Koshi glitched or going to do so rather than extracting. To me it is an sig of weak players. Just play the game, you die. You start again, that’s the fun part.
