There is a 2 frame window for Grounded Sentry Jumps and a 1 Frame window for Midair Sentry Jumps when using Spirit edge
Feather jumps can also be performed by falling off of a platform while holding feather and it can be stored in water by entering and leaving it with swim dash. Also, for doing it with burrow and swim dash you need to be in a grounded state or have a feather jump stored when you use the ability for the feather jump to be stored.
Having Spike makes it so you can no longer do Bash Invincibility.
If you can't seem to pull off some of these tricks it might be because of your framerate. Keep it capped at 60fps to make all of them more consistent.

For the feeding grounds I encountered a glitch where I just clipped through the floor lol. After attempting the stealth part multiple times and deciding I wanted nothing to do with it, while I was still underneath the skeleton (like at 4:34) I tried to reload some past saves (like at least 5 I was desperate) to get out and it wouldn't let me. Then all the sudden I clipped through the floor, through the tunnel below, and down into the area with the combat shrine :/ Interestingly enough when I went back there it initiated the stealth thing again but only the very first part. After stepping on the skeleton where Ori is it didn't care where I went next. Shriek didn't move from there afterwards and none of the creepy noises played lol. All I had to do was climb up.

This happened to me too! The skeleton ori hid behind did a shifting up and down thing and pushed ori down and into the combat shrine area, then when I came back shriek hadn't moved and didn't move when i climbed. It was interesting because the rock up top hadn fallen so you could get through. I've been trying to figure out what triggered it. It was a happy glitch.

Yeah games like this actually rely a bit on their glitches and tricks to keep their replay value. Fortunately Moon Studios knew what they were doing and have only ever patched a few things. In Patch 3, they even added in a lot of new tricks and bugs that are super fun to mess with. The video showcases patch 3 as well, so nothing in it is broken.

Just came looking for this video after I completely unintentionally used a “grenade bash” to skip the entire section leading up to the Baur Reach escape from Shriek. I was curious about what the hell I just pulled off. Quite funny how he mentions there’s no use for it after I just skipped five minutes of climbing completely on accident.

2:48 other methods of pushing the mantis near the water are using sword and bow. bow is useful in case you want to push the enemy just a little and sword is useful in case the distance is longer saying this because bashing repeatedly is not fun sometimes

you forgot the glitch where you spirit smash to the side (not up or down) and then spirit smash again immediately after double jump and then immediately spirit smash again after triple jumping, you can also just start a spirit smash and then before you actually start to swing double jump and spirit smash immediately after

I found this weird glitch, where if at just the right time you launch into a flat-ish surface of spikes, you get a really fast boost. You can use it in luma pools mainly, but it works other places too.

i had a glitch happen to me on my first playthrough. i was still young so i played on easy mode and killed kwolok very fast, too fast. after finishing the cutscene and moving on, when i went back to Luma pools to get the energy cells and co apparently the chase was happening again, which let me dying over and over again, till i was send to the boss arena where i had to fight him again. after that i fixed the glitch.

Some other things are bash glides and the bow lift. The bow lift isn’t super useful because it’s essentially just an aerial sentry jump with the bow but it’s harder and doesn’t get as much height. There’s also a trick with hammer where in the air you do neutral hammer double jump and then hammer

Hello there, this is a very nice video, I enjoyed it a lot and I learned also quite a few things. There is also this glitch which lets you despawn Shriek after the feeding grounds stealth sequence, by reentering the feeding grounds and teleporting to a well the moment Shriek flies at you, which in result lets you finish the game early (I am sure you knew about this but I am going to mention it anyways :). There is another one I would like to ask about. When I first played Ori 2, I noticed you can destroy walls with smash from the front, but the position you need to be in always looks kinda random, so, is there a precise position in which you can do it consistently or is it really random? And also, it is a nice detail that you released your video on March 11th 2021 considering the game got released on March 11th 2020 :)

I am aware of the trick that lets you despawn Shriek. That method of doing feeding grounds skip is quite a bit slower so I decided not to mention it. It is a lot easier to pull off and it can be done after you've already been through the sequence though. Here's a fun fact, doing feeding grounds skip by teleporting away was actually discovered before the game's release by the quality assurance team and was left in the game. About Spirit Smash breaking walls from the opposite side, that is one of the few glitches that they have patched out of the game. Fortunately there are still ways to break walls from the other side (I'm planning on covering it in a future video). Oh and it was intentionally uploaded on the same day that WotW was released but one year later, I'm glad you noticed!

The fun fact is funny :) Spirit Smash breaking walls is patched?! :( , it was one of the few glitches I discovered by myself when the game released :( and it got patched :( :( :( In the meanwhile though I have seen Sentry being used to break walls from the opposite side. And also, when I was watching an Ori 2 randomizer video, I saw that you can use your hammer to gain height (with the correct input timing of course), I found quite liking in that particular one :) But anyways, thank you for your quick answer and your video in general you made, it is well made and very nice to watch. I can't wait for the next one. May I ask when the next one will be released?

I really appreciate hearing that you liked the video! It means so much to me :) I've been working on part 2 for glitches in WotW for the past like, 5 months now lol. It's not that it's hard to make it's just that I've had a major lack of motivation to make the video. I really do want to make the video though, I might work on it again this week so it might be done sometime soon.

@@stretch7293 Completely understandable and relatable, good stuff needs a lot of time, rushing is never good. And I have another question (sorry for being annoying). I remember, when the game released, that I was farming a gorlek for light shards (or whatever the xp is called), and when I was farming it, I remember the more I was killing the gorlek, the more ligth shards I was getting, or in other words, the amount of farmed light shards was growing exponentially. But when I tried today it stayed constant. Is it just my bad memory, or was it a thing and it got patched or is it something else entirely? Do you perhaps happen to know something about that?

i found a glitch with this light thingy (that u learn in mouldwood depths) so, when you are low on energy you need to activate it and waste your energy. for some reason when i tried it, the thing was still (even though there was no energy) it shows that you are getting damaged a lot by 1 hp, but it wont show it on the hp bar. pretty useful? but its fun to mess around with tho

That just sounds like you had Life Pact equipped The shard does that exact thing If you're out of energy you can use your health to use abilities rather than energy.

Are all these possible on current Patch. Ive tried the wavedash for a long time and cant grt it to work. The sentry jumps took me 2mins to get to work so i dont know if its a skill issue or its patched

They all still work on current patch yes, something to note is that if you're playing on PC or Xbox if you're framerate isn't at 60fps the timings for the tricks may be different or even impossible.

Yeah unfortunately there is not really a known way to get it on a save file that has already collected Water Breathing or Spike.

Make sure your framerate is capped at 60fps. And don't get too discouraged if you can't get the timing for Arial Sentries, it is extremely tight.

I'm trying to understand how you can get a no die playthrough, if you have to die to get the invisibility glitch? Would someone please explain how I can do this? (Do I have to get down to the water without dying, then make a save before dying, get the glitch, then, reload the save before the glitch?? That's where I'm confused) thanks 😊

What you do is just do the Bash Invincibility glitch as normal then load a backup save that took place before you did the Bash Invincibility glitch. The Invincible state will transfer through the backup save though the death will not be recorded anymore. The only thing that determines if you get the achievement is what Motay says about your death count at the end of the game. Thanks for asking!

Can you tell me where I can find the clean water fish 🐟. This guy is impossible, I get him crazy close to the edge, basically hanging off, I watch my drown meter go to almost nothing, press LB at the last second, then it ends up throwing him in the water, and I come up. I've done this like 17x perfectly. Or almost. It's not letting me die in time before throwing him, seems extremely narrow. Do you hold LB down or press it once? He always gets thrown to death before me, no matter what. I hold LB and it does that action b4 my death

Okay so that's normal. While you're on Ku you'll only have access to flap and Spirit Arc. You shouldn't be fighting any bosses with Ku unless you're doing some shenanigans to get Ku out of the area you're supposed to. And Spirit Arc should also be able to damage everything So I'm a bit confused as to what you need help here with :>

Great game but it is buggy. I clipped through a wall once, the game crashed a half dozen times and the screen would get stuck if I moved too fast in certain areas.

That does sound like the game at launch, especially on Switch. The screen getting stuck is a performance issue. All of the releases are pretty stable now as far as crashing goes. Clipping through walls is fun though.
