I’ve always had in the museum right after Tess gets bit, if you skull smash a runner into the wall behind the red ropes you can go through the wall back to the hall way at the beginning of the museum and see outside. I always skull smashed a enemy into the shelves after the truck ambush and the guy laid flat onto the shelve in mid air. Always right after Joel wakes up in the basement if you take one step back on the PS3 you can glitch out and see through everything, they patched it on the PS4 be the light and shadows still shift around and go super white

Added bonus: he's stuck outside AND you get some wacky leg glitches and T-Pose glitches in the last segment as Ellie when you equip the gun

In the tunnel, if you sneak up behind the first bloater without alerting him, throw a molotov so both Joel, Ellie, and the Bloater catch on fire, then press pause, wait for exactly 17 seconds, then hit Restart Encounter. You’ll respawn in Valentine as Arthur Morgan and now the game is RDR2.

I beat this game twice and I never encountered any glitch. People who found these glitches didn't find them out of the blue, they were looking for them. If you play this game the way it's intended to be played you will never watch this stuff happen.

There’s a similar glitch to the one shown at 33:00 with the David boss fight. When you first hop into the kitchen, there’s a window that you can climb to below a counter on your right. If you climb into it, that same thing happens.

I discovered one accidentally! In the beginning where the door kills you, you have to speed to the ladder, throw it up, quickly climb up it before tess finishes asking where the ladder is, way before she climbs it. The game's broke now. She's silent, won't move, you can run through. I can't remember if the pendant spawns in, but you can't interact with anything. You run through the spores without your gas mask, but you get stuck at the post because you can't move it. Triangle doesn't even show up. I'm only an hour and a half in, so i don't know if you hit this one later: in Bill's town when you go through the gate ellie pulled the pipe out of. If you swap the one you pick up on the out-building, you get shi materials. You can craft a shiv, swap pipes then swap back, and get more material. Good for grounded mode where you don't get materials.

ive once had ellie start t-posing while controlling her during the winter segment and she kept the t-pose as long as you kept moving, and when you stopped and started walking again her animations would go back to normal at the university before joel gets hurt, right before you drop into the area with the clickers and shambler, if you used listen mode to look at where ellie and callace were she would t-pose there as well. only on the side of the hallway where the hole in the floor is though. edit: 2:22:51 this was the exact same thing that happened to me! i got a video of it on my phone

Today I've found two new glitches (if not yet discovered); a small variation on the glitch in the capital building (43:20). If Ellie falls off the ledge after all the soldiers are killed, she dissapears. If you try to proceed the mission, the game crashes once you continue off the stairs on the bottom floor. Another glitch is at Tommy's dam. If you go to the first shiv door and help Ellie cross the water before you turned the first valve and then turn back to the beginning of the level, Ellie will spawn right next to you with only her head above ground level, then jump in the air after a small while.

@1:31:39 in this section I was playing on Grounded and took out the first 2 guys like normal then messed around crafting for a few seconds and then went and shot the guy using the light, went back and hid, and the clicker that the enemies were shooting at walked into the room with me and into the wall, I just uploaded a video of it, I tried for a little while to get it to happen again but I couldn't. You can hear it throughout most of the video and you can see Joel try to hit it when I use the Pipe while running to the corner of the wall he's stuck in, and the enemies kept reacting to it's clicking lol. Idk if you have seen this, I honestly haven't watched this whole video or the other glitch video but I figured I'd comment anyways.

I got 3 glitches during Winter, the first was when i used Ellie's knife she would swing the rifle around. The second one was i had infinite crafting materials and the third one was when you get to the David boss fight you can climb back out of a window and usually you die but somehow i managed to get back outside and I could run around in front of the restaurant.

After Joel gets injured in the science lab make sure to never reload the last encounter. If you do you will literally lose your primary and secondary weapon holsters. I hope that's only happened to me but it was a very annoying glitch that could only be fixed by picking up a new weapon.

also, another really strange glitch is in the sewers level. notice that you cant kill a clicker with 4 hits with a melee weapon. in the last hit the clicker will bite you, and somtimes you wont be able to stun aa stalker or a clicker by runing thowards them with a melee weapon. they will attack first.

1:11:55 Looks like the dead runner stuck in the gate is getting hit with something like opposing penalty forces. When a moving object hits terrain, the physics will handle it with a penalty force (think back to physics class-a force applied to an object has an equal but opposite force applied back to it by that object). For terrain that's supposed to be immovable that's the penalty force. So simple way to simulate that is that, small part of the geometry of the moving object intersects the terrain, and the penalty force applied is based on the amount of intersection. When the main character gets stuck in a crate or between 2 pieces of fixed terrain, and you often see that weird back and forth thrashing, that's probably opposing penalty forces knocking the object back and forth, effectively trying to "eject" the foreign object and failing. Same thing when you have dead players or NPCs, they ragdoll, but it looks like they just keep jittering around all over long after they're dead. In this case, it's probably because of the double layers of gate that are slightly separated from each other. The Uncharted games all use the Havok engine and I believe TLoU1+2 both do as well, and I recall both my graphics professor and some friends who were using it for one of their undergrad research projects (around 2009-2010) saying Havok had a number of problems. One would hope that it's improved over the years. (Otoh, corpse-collision thrashing I've seen in nearly all 3d games going back to since like.. the EIDOS Tomb Raiders of the '90s, so it seems fairly universal in every game with 3d and any amount of physics sim. I don't know if any engine developers have ever come up with a perfect fix for it, at least one that's widely known and adopted.)

3:15:00 Re: Henry "jumping" forward and catching up to you I know this is 2 years old now, so many you know, but doesn't this occur with all allies in Naughty Dog games? The NPC ally will often get teleported ahead from however far back they might be behind the player character so as not to have the player waiting for their allies to do mundane things like catch up from having been far away (or having been stuck behind some terrain/furniture, possibly because of poor pathfinding or some other AI shortcoming). So the game magically jumps them ahead, usually off screen so you don't notice. You see this occur all the time in Uncharted games, like in Lost Legacy if your ally (Nadine) is intended by the scripts to drive the jeep up while you're opening a doorway. But this behavior happens all the time in earlier Uncharteds and I saw it a lot in TLoU1 and a little less often in Part II. It's a bit of strangeness because, if your ally is close enough behind you, they'll just catch up by running the distance. If they're further back, they'll run supernaturally fast but you can occasionally catch glimpses of them moving faster than they normally do. If they're *way* back, the game just jumps them.

My only uncertainty is if this particular case is an example of what I described. What I *am* certain of is that what I described isn't a glitch. A glitch, at least as it's used, describes behavior that isn't intended to happen by the developers, in terms of the game mechanics. Offscreen ally-teleporting *is* something the game engine intentionally does to prevent the player waiting for them when they're say on the other side of the map for some reason. It's similar to how NPCs are (almost) invincible. It's the type of cheat games give to NPCs to make up for the fact their AI that will never be as good or anticipatory as human player intelligence. I would class it as a potential exploit because you can control it indirectly-ish, mostly by just getting way ahead of your ally to the next trigger that requires them being there. So, in a way, a savvy player can use the NPC's extraordinary abilities (if "ordinary" = player's abilities + limits) to their benefit. When playing Ellie, you can similarly use David as a stun-"shield". Normally she has to brick an infected in order to be able to put them in a state where she can "Knife" them. Far faster and easier way is to let them first grapple David which puts the grappling infected into the same knife-able state.

I'm wondering if that second plank thats out of bounds is actually the plank that appears above water when you press the triangle prompt to release the plank thats stuck underwater. There's a jump cut just before you submerge, so maybe instead of making the animation of it releasing, and also removing that white caution tape, they just had that one out of bounds spawn when you submerge. Next time I play through I will be sure to check if the first one is still there underwater after ellie gets off the palette/plank. That would be my guess as to why that extra plank is there.

I had this glitch where Ellie was on the horse and she was twisted her fingers were bent backwards and her legs were super long and twisted it was traumatic and her face was like mutilated and she was bending back really far. I’ll never forget it

I had an instance where the infected didn't spawn in. It happened to me in the tunnel in Salt Lake though. The three 'sleeping' runners still spawned in in that side hallway but, the rest didn't, and Joel and Ellie still reacted like they all had.

Anthony Caliber i did and unlike in video Joel doesnt t-posing he just move far away with the t-pose :( And also I cant teleport to that same place as in the video i was in that same area but in the different place

I once had a glitch where they were at the hospital with the monkeys and later on, after the encounter with the monkeys, I ran into a monkey t-posing in a doorway that I needed to get through; low-key scared the shit out of me.

Literally just got the glitch @2:43:27 randomly 😂 never experienced that one before. Also not sure if this is a glitch but I wasn't able to pick up any nail bombs because the game wasn't scripted at that part to give me any and there was no slot in my bag. Killed all the clickers and runners with one Molotov before you get into the armory and Ellie and Bill are talking about fixing a car. So annoyed I couldn't pick them up 😂
