I really think Z is going to struggle with this DLC for one reason and one reason only. It involves his "kryptonite" of having to _actually read through the mission logs properly._ 😋 We all know he loves to skim and not follow the missions until forced to go back and read it.

I’ve been playing Astro for like… 5 years, I still remember the old storms, the flying boxes and digging storage holes for the loose resources so they don’t fly away. It’s unbelievable how far the development went on it and I’m really glad they never dropped the project, the new DLC looks absolutely amazing and I’m buying it as soon as it drops. I absolutely love this game.

I have been playing Astroneer for 8ish years when it was in early access. I certainly remember the OG storms and would always dig a hole to hide and store my items so they didn't fly away lol. Seeing you play Astroneer again has definitely made me want to get back into the game! Would love to get a code. Keep up the awesome work on your end Z. I have 366.5 hours on Astroneer, and I've been playing since before you could move platforms, when the planets were named after their environment (arid, tundra etc.) and the starting planet had those huge green caves that were fun to drive rovers in

I've only got about 1500+ hours of Astroneer but the majority of that would be from the Alpha to about 2018-2019 as I stopped about then and only recently started playing it again. You were always a big influence on me with this game (and others) so cheers mate. I hated the storms, they were so stupid. It was the digital equivalent of having a "time out" because you couldn't do anything while it was raging. I think I stopped playing Astroneer before it became official as I was probably overloaded with it so I've missed a lot of the events and have only recently played through them (also because you started playing it again). I will get the DLC though as it has been fun playing it again. It really has changed so much since the Alpha but still a tinge of sameness. Remember when you would go to other planets on the rocket base with just a vehicle chair strapped to it?

I picked up Astroneer about 6 years ago. Some of my best memories is playing co-op with a friend of my from back home. I will never forget the look on his face when I was still very new to the game and stuck hydrazine on the smelting furnace and blew half our base into space! Turned our base into a crater! Cant wait to watch your Glitchwalkers playthrough! :)

According to steam I first played this game at Mar 10, 2018.. I recall playing it in a cafe pretty spontaneously; I've met with my childhood friends on a weekday, we were all coming from our respective colleges so we all had our laptops with us, after chatting for a while we got bored and decided to do something new and different, we were all really into exploration and decided to go into an adventure in Astroneer. As soon as we opened the game we really get into the character, man, with two comp sci and a biochem majors we were acting like NASA itself tasked us with discovering the core of the planet, it was fun times.

Forgot how long ago I played, but I remembered that you could get killed by storm debris. And I always stored my excess materials in holes so they didn't blow away. I remember sometimes after a reload if I picked up a material in a hole, it would launch some of the other materials skyward

This Zack guy talked me into getting the game a little before Launch. My 1st EA title. Dug many foxholes to avoid storms. Always thought the planets could use some weather. Maybe a little less deadly, tho. FYI, the Astroneer YT released a trailer today that shows 8 Regions on the new planet. I think 3 of them are caves. I look forward to learning about them with you.

22:30 yes, Z, nothing is real. Your Sylva save is your own simulation, my one is my simulation, and the Aeoluz save is Bl!tz's (for everyone, tho, so it breaks the realism a bit). "IRL" every player is an induvidual crewmember inside the wreck of the ESS Elysium, an Astroneer ship, and its onboard AI put you all into the ATP (Astroneer Training Protocol) for your own safety. If you stopped to read the lore you would know this... (not a complaint everyone should play their own way)

Oh boy this is gonna be amazing. I just realized, did they name the main villain Bl1tZ because of Blitz (He’s another wonderful KZbinr like yourself that played astroneer a ton) In response to your question at the beginning, it’s hard to recall exactly, but I know I’ve played since storms. Terran Arid Exotic Tundra and Radiated are the planets I grew up with, if I’m right they each had their own storms, Terrans was just throwing rocks at you, Arid kinda just through bigger rocks, and now that I’m thinking about it it may have all just been rocks. lol, it’s been so long. Enough about me, I hope you enjoy the dlc as much as I am going to.

I've been playing since it's first release. According to Steam (I played before it was on steam) I have over 314 hours. I play off and on when I"m just trying to chill. The original storms were my favorite feature (that and the old resource nodes you could keep getting over and over, but they changed it to research samples). Personally I"ve wanted them to bring back the storms since they removed them. I actually quit playing for a year after they removed the storms because I was so upset. Now they found a way to bring them back and not make it bad for everyone else. I'm sooooo excited for the release of glitchwalker.

i remember getting right after it was available on the steam store sometime late December 2016. i was so hyped to play it after id seen videos of everyone praising it and played it until one major update happened and i couldn't get it to run on my laptop again sadly , thankfully got a new laptop recently and have been able to enjoy it again good time honestly its so cool and weird to see just how much has been added since i first started playing it. been recently trying to get a friend into it too. I have around 263.3 hours in Astroneer since February 7th, 2019. I keep enjoying the game every playthrough. I have friends who play Astroneer however never got to do any multiplayer with them. The custom game settings in regular Astroneer allowed you to create new planets that don't resemble the originals at all, so this is not really the first new planet.
