When I try the dish soap tumblers using spray paint or the cool alcohol ink tumblers my epoxy separates leaving big bare spots do you know why?

Question for you. I notice in your videos you don’t sand in between epoxy. Do you sand or no?

I typically don't sand glittered epoxy tumblers because when I sand, sometimes it will create hole in the tumbler where the glitter bumps are. so I just epoxy again.

Looks great! If you sand your tumbler (400 grit wet sand) before you did the soap portion, you could totally do a decal without worrying about the transfer tape pulling off the paint😉👌

Love this, I like the tiger stripe one. Could I get the same effect if I used mod pog instead of the epoxy for the first step(before I apply the glitter)

How does the spray paint not run off when rinsing the soap with the pressurized hose?

It just doesn’t. I don’t know the science behind it but it stays right on the tumbler! It’s similar to Hydrodip tumbler with spray paint in water.

Never thought about it like that, but, you're right. In theory, hydrodips should wash off, too! But whatever the case, it's awesome!

Thank you!!! I use a respirator mask when I’m not recording. I found great ones on Amazon! When I record, I don’t use it so my viewers can understand me better. While recording, I have an exhaust fan and windows open for my protection. I have no pets nor children to protect from fumes , it’s just me 😊 Thank you for your concern!
