I didn't know what to expect with the skin, but I DEFINITELY didn't expect that. I didn't even pay attention to the thumb nail until just now. Glad I didn't, because that was a really beautiful surprise for me. I think that was an excellent solution.... EXCELLENT!!

That dress is absolutely gorgeous! The chameleon glitter certainly worked on it. I don’t understand why it didn’t on the cross, either, buy, hey, it all a learning experience. The extras are nice. I’ve never lived next to the ocean and I’ve only visited it once. Therefore, I’m not that into marine items, but I’m sure they are great for those who are. On a video the other night, someone dipped their brush in alcohol and it stuck. I guess there are work around. ❤❤❤❤

On molds that seems some dont stick, if you spray your mold with mold release and let it dry well, sometimes that helps Dress turned out amazing and the cross is beautiful in my opinion

My name is Janette larkin I am a member of your channel now for a couple of months or so I love that dress and mold along with the cross and mold i am very much into god and I forgot to tell you I loved that turtle and mold you and Renee did I love it you 2 crack me up its great to have friends like that. I also wanted to share with you that you have really inspired me lately especially the last year because I had a tragic event happen to my family and I we lost our home to a horrific fire on easter Sunday and my sons first pet which was a cat named Jerry did not make it through we have to cavalier king Charles Spaniels dogs and they died and by the miracle and grace of God he brought them back to us I almost lost my life that day as well I thought I would never see him again(my son) I am a single mother for 8 years until I met my husband Tony who loves Don he thinks he is hysterical sorry for the long comment I lost everything thing all my art supplies my memories of my son the only ones I had and I have been slowly getting back into my crafting I have been doing it my whole life if you could let me know where I can get those things I would appreciate it Thank you ttys

Hi Janette! I'm soooo sorry to hear what happened to you, that is truly a tragic event. And WOW God always amazes me, what a true miracle with your dogs! God is so good! God truly cares about all his creation. I have a recent miracle story that happened a couple weeks ago too with a bird! We have a very large pond in front of my home and in the middle of it was a bird who was in the water struggling to keep his head above. His feathers were all wet and he couldn't swim. It broke my heart that I couldn't go in and save it because we have alligators in our waters, and I wasn't sure exactly where the alligator was at the moment. So, I just stood there with my dogs and prayed to God to please don't let him die out there!! I didn't know how He would save the bird, but I was hoping He would. All of a sudden one of the bird's "kin" flew out to the struggling bird and hovered over him a few seconds and I'm yelling to the bird "help your friend!!!! Do something!!!!" LOL WELL.....all of a sudden out of nowhere a great white heron (very tall bird) fly's in and swoops down, grabs the drowning bird (I thought it was going to eat the bird!) and flies the little bird to the shore right where I was standing and drops him off about 6" from shore!! I was in total shock of what just happened!! I hurried and texted Don to come and grab the little thing and put him on shore in the grass to dry off. I would have but I was holding my dogs. So, Don did that and we went to work, when we got home he was gone! Dried up and flew away! I'm so amazed at how God takes care of the slightest things. I'm so happy your dogs are ok! They are truly like our kids. It just reminded me that God knows exactly what's going on everywhere and he cares about what we care about, even the "little things". Your things can be replaced but life cannot. I'm very sorry about your cat though, I do know how it feels to lose a pet. Anyway.....after all that, what exactly can I link for you? I agree with you on the cross. I don't think you could have done anything else to make it better. The dress is pretty though. I wouldn't have thought to put rhinestones on the skin portion so genius of an idea 😊. All of extras are pretty too. The dress is beautiful! Maybe it was the first layer of glitter on the cross was different than what was on the dress? I have some of those glitter powders from Temu - not those exact ones, but very similar - and they do that same thing about not sticking everywhere. However, some of the colors are absolutely gorgeous, like an emerald green, and surprisingly, a silver gray.

I found some new molds must have mold release spray on them, from the factory. Try wiping the inside down with alcohol when this happens. I think the cross is to flat for the glitter to do color swapping. You really need textured or curved surfaces for it to work properly.

The only thing I would try is to put a silicone spacer in the dress and when cured put an electric votive candle in it.

I was watching Danial Cooper and he has a fix to make that stuff stick better, he just sprayed it with Alcohol before applying.

I love the dress, it's just beautiful, it's too bad the cross didn't turn out as nice, I think mixing the glitter into the resin might work on that, the extras as always are gorgeous. I have a secret for you, when I was in my early thirties, my mother, sisters and I used to dress every Christmas in long gowns, I loved it, I think we were both born in the wrong century

Yeah, shoot, the cross was a disappointment, what a bummer and the uv didn't help. I wonder what it'll look like with just resin? The dress and extras were great! Loved the rhinestones!!! I agree with not putting rhinestones in the ruffles but maybe a border on the bottom? Either way, love ur vids!! 💙💙

Maybe try spraying mold release in them. Let it dry real good before trying the glitter. Let's Resin makes extra fine holographic glitters that work better. Not sure if you have them or not.

lovely! Fabulous colours, and such a nice take on that mould. The added rhinestones are amazing. Would the mould turn inside out to get at the awkward bits? I know some do, some don't, The difference is because one mould is curved, the other is flat shapes. I've found the same with the effects of glitter, powders and flakes. Love all your extras, some fab ideas

Oh I didn’t know you could brush that glitter on if just been mixing it in my resin it does colour shift but not the best it’s a bit lack lustre but could be we are to use to intense colour shift 😂but I do like it mixed in I do find it doesn’t sink but then I do pack it in. I love the dress mold absolutely beautiful 🤩 and the colours are amazing 👗💜💙

I don’t know if this would work or not since I have not used that product before… but what I’ve been doing is using a paint brush and UV resin. I dip my paint brush into uv resin… paint on the product… cure it… then move on with the 2 part opoxy.ive done this with 2-3 different products and it went on and stayed on nicely

I know you use Tack it over and over for your cups. Can you apply that directly to the mold to capture that stubborn glitter, or would that ruin your mold? Just a thought because I have no clue.😊

I've used that on resin before to do that but not on a mold, I'm not sure what would happen to the mold!

The dress is pretty and you could do so much like flowers , pearls , different gem stones etc , as someone who doesnt like crosses anyway it wouldnt be my thing but i can understand why your disappointed with it maybe its the type of silicone its made with thats the problem

I agree with you on the cross, doesn't do much for me. As always, your extras are beautiful. But the dress, GORGEOUS! And I like what you did to bling her up. Question, is there an advantage to using the already black resin over mixing your own paste into clear resin? I've been debating on getting some of the already black resin but not sure what the advantage would be when I have paste already.

Do you have a video (couldn’t find one) of how you store all of your resin items? Should I keep them all out for the 30 day cure before wrapping and packing away? Do we use wax paper?

To be completely honest everything I make is sold and shipped in about 1-3 days after making them. I do not keep them long enough to cure 30 days. Most are shipped and in the owners hands before the video even hits YT!

I've never been a fan of those dresses. But I love the way you did this one. Too bad about the glitter on the cross. I've had a couple of molds over the years that you couldn't paint anything in them because it wouldn't stick and would be patchy. But that doesn't seem to the the case for this one since the powder had no issue. Glad I didn't buy any of that glitter yet. I wonder if it was just certain colors. Like would those stick in the dress better, and would the blue stick in the cross better?🤔❤

@@jofish420 she uses both types but on this one I believe it’s the individual ones… she’s brushes on the “tack-it” glue stuff then adds the rhinestones

Hi Michelle, let me start off by saying everything turned out beautiful love the dress but don’t get mad at me. You want ideas for the dress just remember I’m a person that loves Halloween and I could see doing something creepy with the dress since she doesn’t have a head, but that’s just me lol❤

Don't think you would have really liked dressing in the 1700 and 1800's. From what I have read there was really no way to clean them and with no a/c they would have probably smelled really bad. Love your dress.

Haha! I was just saying that! I posted some links below to some videos of dressing back then! I would've had heat exhaustion for sure but warm in winter! But since baths were like weekly, maybe all the layers were to cover the stink? Haha 😃😃✌👍

Oh yeah, reading the comment below about wearing long gowns for Xmas is awesome! But I was gona say, if u have a minute, on KZbin, search for going to bathroom with dress from 1800s. Because there's layers under a blooming skirt like that and then of course they wore bloomers and girdles and stuff! 😃💙. Could u imagine if it was urgent? Haha! I'd be hot as heck! 😃😃😃💙💙💙✌👍

OMG!!! I used to say the exact same thing when I was little about the 1800’s!!!! I thought women were soooo beautiful then. But now after knowing what I know about how women were treated back then… and basically had no rights… and how uncomfortable those beautiful dresses were.. I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t live during that time.,I would have probably been hung do to my strong will and saying what I think 😂😂😂
