Violet is a perfect name! The red is perfect! Oddly, it's not just mica powders, but nail polishes as well where it is really hard to find what I call a "pure" red... with no orange or pink under tones.. or sometimes a muddy sort of purple under tone! So, Hooray for the pure red!!!

Violet is a good name for her. What might be interesting is if you do another one of these, do the antlers a contrasting color. Just a thought 😊. Love all the colors of the roses. The accent colors make them stand out more too. I think I have these molds somewhere 😂. As for the turtle, I think you're right about the shell taking away from the beauty of the glass. I do think it's really pretty. Could you sand the shell and smooth it out? Might work maybe. ✌️❤️🤣peace, love and happiness

I have used a tiny shell mold to make a tiny shell of a color, then cured with uv light onto the mica powder lids. Also for the already colored resins, I used a tiny jewels mold to put a colored jewel on the cap since you can’t see the color in the bottle.

All those turned out beautiful! I do like the turtle but you probably would see the glass better without any pattern in the mold. It turned out pretty regardless. Aww the name Violet is perfect & what adorable match with Sandy. The colors are quite vibrant with those micas. 😊 That green & the pink one...wow! Stunning. I just bought over 100+ micas not so long ago. Hmmm...will have to see how those fair to the ones from Let's Resin. May have to check them out. That red one was so beautiful! Hee hee. I was going to suggest Violet but I thought it would be too obvious. Then you named her Violet and that was cool. I agree with you on the turtle shell. The texture distorts the glass. The red and cyan are beautiful. I’d do the rose (1st) in a blue because that’s my favorite flower.

Sandy’s girlfriend! Violet. She’s adorable. My husband and I have been married 47 years. The cashiers at our regular grocery store all know that he buys me carnations at least once a month, as he tells them,just because. He’s the sweetest. The flowers are gorgeous. When you edged the petals it really made the colors pop. That red is beautiful! Red mica. So hard to come by. The turtle is very pretty but I think you’re right. The shell outline dulled the effect of the diachroic film.😊

I made a bunch of succulents the other day. I spritzed each mold with alcohol first. I didn’t have a single bubble in 11 items. Yes you are correct about how they dye flowers.if you leave the antlers off and fill the hole it looks like a hippo.

I think if you had just moistened the stone with resin and pour it all at the same time it would have been closer to the top of the resin and allowed it to come through without any distortion
