Peanut, thanks for adding this video. Great to see new games like this. I think you had issues planting your second crop of carrots because you had the wrong field selected. It is possible the yield of that crop was so low is that the K fertilizer level was in the red at the time of planting. Adding more K fertilizer might have increased the yield. It's a cool game. I will give it a try.
