Say what you will about bdo but one thing I respect about it's community is that it's content creators for the most part are always willing to collab with each other. You don't see this really in other mmos

Stating that elixir rotations, kaia/chimera accessories give an unfair advantage to more geared players in capped content is something I severely disagree with. These elixirs and accessories are available for everyone to use lmao. So much content has been introduced to tailor to the needs of the lower geared/newer players. The introduction of capped node wars and sieges were introduced to help these group of players and now people are suggesting to remove elixirs and the capped accessories just because players who have grinded so long before the introduction of Tuvala gear can enjoy extra benefits from them. Why are we constantly punishing players who have spent their time grinding to get geared? If the elixirs and kaia/chimera accessories were gated behind an impossible wall, I would understand that using elixirs and these accessories can be considered unfair, however, the reality is that newer/lesser geared players just have to continue playing the game to benefit from the elixirs and accessories. So now new/lesser geared players just have to do the bare minimum in the game and just press YES to attend wars, while those who have actually played the game get punished again? Seriously? It isn't stupidly impossible to transition from full Pen Tuvala gear into enough gear that enables a player to fully enjoy the benefits of elixirs and kaia/chimera accessories in capped wars. We already have enough content to helped newer and lesser geared players transition if they play the game enough. Has the developers of the game not introduce enough content to help these group of players? Why do we want to punish progression so badly? If elixirs and capped accessories should be removed, they should only be disabled for T1s only as it has the lowest barrier of entry and can be considered a sort of introduction to what node/siege wars are like, but it should not be removed for any other tiers. Regarding the costs of elixirs, I think suggestions such as introducing them into NW shops or lowering costs etc can be considered, however we must take into account the welfare of life skillers, as removing them from wars completely drastically reduces the demand for them and cutting costs too much may no longer make them profitable to make (this comes from a player who hates life skilling). TLDR: Items that are available to everyone should never be considered unfair simply because people who can benefit fully from them are those that have actually played the game enough to progress to that point. I don't want to sound condescending but If you are not able to fully benefit from these items even on content that is already capped so low for today's standards, just grind more, its not like caps are 700+ lmao.

@BlueSquadron I do like the idea of having AoS gear sets for, at very least, T1's maybe T2's. I could see it helping with, not only the gear discrepancy, but also getting more people directly into War content which could possibly help achieve those Turn-Out numbers they were trying to push for (that most people agreed was too high). Outside of not having the time and trying coordinate a bunch of people with conflicting IRL schedules to attend wars; one of the biggest road blocks for War content is the prep and gear. Tuvala, seasonal, the amount of free stuff given, and the numerous QoL changes helped with this issue but it still exists.

T1 25man nodewar 600gs, T3 50man nodewar 650gs, Uncapped 75man nodewar assuming no change to alliance. my thoughts on this

I really like the idea of having a separate accessible set exclusively for PVP that scales your stats according to the tier of the node. With everyone on a more equal playing field, this could open up some options with specialized sets for different playstyles in the future. Ex: Tank, bruiser, assassin, fighter, etc. That could give pvp more options for strategy with gear choices.

I like the aos cap idea a lot. Just make 1 aos cap across the board and then have uncapped beyond that, it'd unify all the caps so they don't feel so different like they do now. And removing elixirs/chimera earrings/kaia necklace as well. Within my friend group and people I know, 50-60mans for uncapped would be the sweet spot, since it also means less lag overall. I do also think we should abolish the alliance system to spread players out, as it is now people are condensed into the same alliances rather than spreading strength out. And yes nerf green offhands into the dirty, they have no business being remotely better than endgame gear. Keep them at okay stats for early gearing but leave it at that: a stepping stone.

- Gearcaps are fine, assuming chimera and kaia can no longer be abused. Reaching 680 (or basically 269 AP gear) is really not that hard as a next step up from graduating from tuvuala nodewars. - Same goes for HP stacking, altho i do not think you should simply hard cap HP because thats unfair to classes that are supposed to rely on HP vs ones that are supposed to be squishy. Instead it should be softcapped HP + buffs from skills both active and passive. - Same goes for elixirs, the advantage you get from running expensive elixir rotations is insane and very unfair to newer tuvala players that simply dont want to loose 500m-5b every nodewar. - Attendance caps should be 35/60/80. - The suggestion to make everything AoS is more complicated because it allows specialised builds, which could make things like shai or carpet viable in nodewar but it might ruin everything at the same time. Also, how would you then split the caps? You would have to make 2 AoS caps and implement those universaly. - Totally agree that the sieges should reflect the nodewar caps. - Love the nodewar shop gear + elixirs idea, altho i do wonder how unbalanced that is gonna be. Think about trial gear favouring DR classes for example. Then again, stating the above again about AoS gear. - In an alliance system, guilds should have the option to disable members from counting towards the alliance limit and ofcourse prohibit them from attending as a result. This way community members can stick around, without breaking up friend groups for the sake of trying to reach attendance caps. - Lowering alliance limit and as a result lowering nodewar attendances is a good idea. Might encourage more guilds to go back to solo. - Definitely dont want to end up with the previous system where guilds and alliances where 100 and merc slots where alot higher because the merc scene was disgusting and ruined most wars coz the top20 mercs had way too much impact. - Kinda like the idea of allying only for siege, but the system sounds abusable. PA would have to really think about a way to implement this properly. - Personal performance is a horrible idea. Everyone will be soooo selfish and no1 wants to go in first etc etc. - Please dont give NA/EU the 1 hour version, i only play this game for nodewar content. You cant just cut my content in half and expect me to feel fine about it. The 2 hour nodewars are the best and already because of this system we might get unlucky and get a fort that ends in 20 minutes. - Forts should not be able to sniped 1 minute before the end as it discourages fighting for the previous 19/39/59 minutes as well as encourage shady tactics without putting in the effort. Give it to the guild that did the most damage when it dies or something? I dunno, this is gonna cause so much grief. - Also, unless you make forts tankier, they are gonna get oneshot in 10 seconds. Especially if there is less annexes for various reasons. - If you're gonna make FT and hwacha 500m, might aswell just disable em instead because it would give such an unfair advantage to already stronger guilds that win more and thus have more funds. Also, imagine placing 5 FT's in a row that all get cannoned during rebuild, aint no way this is gonna be fun for the guy that placed it in post war talks.

Pvp balance talk really should be left to each individual player submitting tickets on what they feel should happen. Discussions like this really don't solve anything especially when you're talking about nerfing someone's main class. It just goes in circles because everyone wants their class to be the awakening drak, the succ sage, the succ wizard, the lahn, the maegu, ect ect but they dont like those classes. Nobody will ever agree on pvp balance because everyone wants to be the least effort, most reward op class.

BDO will be much better if they cap FPS in 75. there will not be more dsync cause of high fpd on some classes.

Funny thing is BDO console has at least 1 guild that pulls max players for all pvp related activities. You should definitely interview the sacred GM and ask him how he’s able to pull his full 100 ppl for siege and t-5’s

AOS gear for node war removes the substance and meaningfulness for the people who enjoy PVE for the goal of getting good enough gear to pvp. Most people don't think this way but just another perspective. I love node war, but as a new player I enjoyed having to put in work to make it to node wars, it felt like I accomplished something making it to that point. If I just got to download the game, buy gear for 1 silver and go to node war after reaching 61 (doesn't take long at all) then I would've never played the game. Me personally, AOS gear in any aspect of any game kinda takes away from the meaningfulness to the game.

IMO the best Brackets and caps should be this . There is should be 4 Tiers. 550 GS 25 players, 600 GS 50 players, 650 GS 75 players and Uncapped 100 players. Only doing 3 tiers is dumb

2:06:40, ? if that person is one tapping everything, it doesn't matter how long he has been playing this game , he could be 10 min into the game, and boom one tap Pen debo belt, and boom another one tap debo neck, he still deserves to be your " so called " one percent high end player", because this ain't gonna happen to the rest of us. You want this game to be even more complicated? talking about the recent changes that "has made the game " too easy" ", you need to seek mental support and stop enjoying other people suffer. If a game starts to abandon the vast majority of the players, and tunnel visioning on that top 1 % hardcore players, the game is dead anyway, because if 1 million players play your game, but 99% quit because its too hard, that 1 % its not gonna provide enough milk for the game company. Black desert is already the game that require literal years of dedication , time, and effort. If you have all the gears in the world, and have all the Mythical horses in the game, you should be supportive and happy to help other people achieve what you have achieved, not blocking them just so that you won't lose your "top 1% " ego shit. It is not common for a company that are willing to break the conventions and trying new things, good things, and PA is doing exactly that. With the recent changes, they have implemented literal countless ground breaking QOL changes that makes the game much much more enjoyable. They make mistakes of course, but it's not like other game company don't make mistakes. Another thing is people seem to hate seeing game companies making money from cash items, here is the thing, company make money ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, they are gonna milk people regardless, like how the world is running, without profit, company is not going anywhere, so as long as a company is making the game enjoyable, I am glad to give my money to them than giving it to other companies that makes shitty games and don't care about their players. Once again, people need to support each other, people need to be happy about other people achievement, ego only bring toxicity, and game don't want toxic people.

Just going off the section for the hammer being an issue, I also feel the same way about them announcing Manos accessories to being Cron-able in the near/distant future. Manos was initially announced and released for the intent to never be able to Cron / save it from exploding. People like Balrog who have tapped trillions of silver worth of Manos just for it to be able to be Cronned just ruins the concept of making it. It's pure copium for someone like me, who is over 180bil deep into trying to hit just TET accessories, quite a few attempts being prior to jan 1st as well, but i agree on this whole discussion so far. As a drak awak main, it does need nerfed in PVP, but it needs a large buff for PVE. It needs less animation locks for higher end grindzones, where you get stuck in animations of death, its rough. The change that made us unable to dash into an attack from our dragon-flight, should have only have been a pvp change (Like disable the skill for any pvp content, node wars / WOR / siege) because the change in a PVE mindset, ruined a big part of why i personally played Drak for its mobility to do off-meta grind rotations. Please nerf Woosa and Maegu in all pvp situations, those two classes are very hard to counter with Maegu being the worst, the massive AOE's that are the size of zerker 200% bsr's. As my own input on something else that should be brought up for huge discussions is karma changes / more punishments / debuffs for red players. With the current red player situation with NA specifically, where they risk pretty much nothing as long as they have crystals filling their inventory, There could be a bounty system in place that announces a red player's server over -5mil karma, or something that will add risk to the game for people who play specifically to grief others. Just being red to attack horse trainers or afk players requires no skill and has no punishment, there should be more incentives for players willing to hunt down red players / increased jail times / global jail? / more risk involved with it. This is also probably copium as well, because i'm sick of being blasted by seasonal players joining the game just to go red on lifeskillers in full Manos, just to run away before you bring your main character over to break their crystals.

On the drak issues, have you noticed that refraction into blue tip of the scale is unusable? Just yeets you off in a perpendicular direction and you cant change it.

When are you nerds going to learn BdO has only ever had economic PVP via the CM. Node war, siege war open world etc never have, nor will they ever matter. Time for you guys to put the work in, and get the merchant ring. If you play the game right, you never have to leave town.
