Hello Professor ... I'm spending some time online this morning researching the intended purpose of a couple of velcro straps found on the inside of the left lower (outside of the left calf) pocket situated on the lower leg of the zip off of a pair of Royal Robbins pants that I love. Identifiers RN 54226 and CA 14980 (also 25809 and F09). I also have pictures of an image for some innovation for you to think about in terms of added functionality. In fact, I've modified my pants and will be happy to show you why and what the benefit was. I hope you (or someone from Royal Robbins) reach out.
