Love mine. Can't believe it took me so long to pull the trigger on these! Thanks!

I ordered this stands because of your video and just got them. Let me just say, I LOVE this stands! They are by far the best I've ever owned! I replaced my ST-132 stands with the D-3900L's and am glad I did! The only thing I wish they would have added was some type of height measuring sticker/marker so that you know how high you stand is (to ensure both stands are at the exact height). Other than that, I say buy these stands now if you are thinking about getting them! They are well made and light! Keep up the great work Arnoldo! You inspire dj's to think outside the box and be the best you can be!

These things look really sturdy and supportive. I always have curious idiots that need to look at my laser lights and moving heads. No matter what I do some guy always manages to trip on one of my on stage stands. It crashed once. I was pissed. Those moving lights are not cheap with the osram bulbs. Will definitely buy this. Glad to see heavy line arrays hanging in these

Do you think the DT-3800s would be good for a 16ft Span of F23 truss with about 150lbs of lights on it? I'm not sure whether to get the 3800, or upgrade to the 3900s.

2 things ... 1 you should demo this with weight on it, the teeth on the gears get jammed and I have had a total of 5 of these and the model below and constantly fight with them.. and #2, so you start at 6' minimum height so what do you do manually lift all of your truss above your head? It just about kills us getting the truss on the stands to start.... I still have 3 stands that get locked up 1/2 way up and/or coming down will gladly upgrade to a model that is more reliable...

Call Global. I’ve had these since day 1 and no issues.

This stand looks very tall do you actually have to use a step ladder to put the speaker on the stand because it doesn’t look like you can just lift the speaker up over your head to put it on stand i need some kind of crank stand or hydraulic to put my qsc kw15’s on them because regular stands be killing my back trying to lift them up high enough!

How high do you want your speakers to go? You may want to look at my review on the gator stands.

Thanks for this video! I'm thinking of upgrading my 3800 to these 3900. Could I use the same bag? i currently use the bag for the ST-132s like you recommended!

+Chony Milecki Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, that bag is too small for the 3900s.

I'm using these stands with a T-bar to hang speakers and the black plastic part of the handle gets in the way and makes it very difficult to crank them up. Can you tell me how to remove it? I haven't been able to figure it out and I don't want to break it. Thanks!

+Chony Milecki Watch my video on the DT-3800L and I show you there. :) There's a little spring loaded level, push that and it slides out.

+Arnoldo Offermann Sorry I wasn't clear in my question. I'm not trying to remove the entire handle - if I do that I cannot crank it up! What I'm trying to do is remove JUST the black plastic section off the handle. That way I'll be able to crank the stand up (although it will be harder), but the black handle won't keep without it hitting the hanging speaker. But I can't figure out how to remove the black plastic handle. Is it attached with a screw? It doesn't seem to unscrew... Do you have any idea?

You'll have to either move the speaker back with one hand and crank with the other or get a longer truss run. It is NOT recommended to remove the handle of the cranks!
