Seems like a good deal. Like the more rotations you do the better value it is compared to the 300 stone rotation, but if we aren’t getting the tickets then it’s not as good. I’ll still try from broly cause I like villain teams then beast too. After that I’ll save for the new UI and cell

This is what I hope they do. Couple days after the banners drop I want EZA SSBKKE and BCL to get released. 400 hours in the banners. Part 2 starts and EZA UI and Evo drop with the units. 400 hours. Anniversary ends after this. The only reason why I think this is possible is due to the fact that they said it only took 50/77 tickets to do the multi, or 2/3 of the normal quantity. There will likely not be an EX part since those LR’s are already out. I also don’t see a need for part 3 either. This offers them a full month to work with before WWDC ‘24. Meaning Toppo and Cell Max fit in right after it ends in the first couple days in August on my timeline. Would seem lackluster, but it cuts down the time needed to get the other units on JP released. At this point we’d only be missing Tanabata.

With this new step-up mechanic, I can do four full rotations(1st to 7th pull) per banner in Part 1, thats 2040 DS. I planned to use 2020 with old mechanic, but there would be more summons with old one. It is what it is.

The LR carnival banner is actually the better value for me. Minus broly and the support Frieza i have almost all the other units rainbowed or with multiple dupes on the Broly banner. I obviously don't have Gogeta but i don't have LR Gohan, the Int LR tree of might Goku, LR Cooler, 55% of EZA UI Goku, Broly trio and Future trunks. Not to nention the other Carnival LRs i still don't have or dupes i need more of.

Guarantee feature doesn't even mean that musch as you can easily get shafted as well. The benifit is the multis are cheaper on average. No tickets though

It’s amazing for newer players, or even players that don’t have a good majority of the characters on the banners. Like even I don’t have blue boys with a single super and I’ve been playing since the 3 year anniversary.

In totality with the discounted stones tho it means a lot especially because it’s a free summon at the end of the banner, it also makes it so you get less shafted cause atleast its a featured card

I feel like the stepup is huge but I would rather all the banners going forward change to the guaranteed like they have with the platinum coins. They would still make bank on banners, but it would show them giving back to fans.

Since there are no tickets this is virtually the same because it would take 200 stones to get 6 multis (4 +1 free + 1 tickets) so basically they're charging you an extra 5 stones for a guaranteed feature which ain't bad however this isn't some major upgrade. It'll be a W for some. Maybe it's just me but I think it sucks more having a guaranteed feature be a unit you don't need vs the old way

Some people did one rotation (3+1) on each banner and then focus on the one they prefer, so i call this a win! They can do 4 multis for 120 stones, then go to the other banner, stay or save.

Think overall this step up is a better format in terms of value and stones but I do think it also means they’re retiring the ticket format. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case cause they just can’t or don’t want to give JP players these tickets. We’ll probably have to see when these 9th Anni banners go live and when we’re in the WWC.

Don’t summon on these banners. Gogeta is not built to last past the next batch of powercreep, he’ll be dodge or die. Broly takes damage transformed and his value is half of what it is on JP since Toppo and Cell Max are essential to the team and have no current release schedule.

I don't think a guranteed featured is worth 3 multis. "Wow guranteed LR STR Gogeta". It's good for newer players I don't think it's as good for vets. However if we get tickets then I'd say this is good if not I'd say it's bad.

If you are talking about tickets… you lose 18 tickets. Since technically you are spending less per 2 rotations. 255 vs 300. … also it’s not fully verified we are not getting tickets, we may still get some from the first part of the rotation. Then technically we are just missing 9 tickets, for the place of a featured GSSR… which is way better.

If this is on the beast banner, then it’s decent because everyone is going to do a ton of rotations for him and dupes. If you mean if this new step up format for the part 1 banners will be live when Beast Gohan arrives, then no. The step up is time limited to 400 hours which should go away a day or a few hours before part 2 goes live.

They’d be more likely to not have a part 3 at all and cut the anniversary short. If they do that then they can fit Toppo and Cell Max into August before WWDC. They already said the 77 ticket multi was only requiring 50, or 2/3 the normal amount, so you’d have all of them by the end of part 2. Probably a reason for that if I had to guess.

No they're not. The banners are still the same as JP. Especially the dokkanfest banner has gotten even a more value with this. Only thing that's unclear is if there is a limit to these step-up summons. If not, you will only be using 5 stones more fore the same number of summons

Don’t summon on these banners. The thing a lot of Global players forget is that WWDC usually brings out the new meta fights for the rest of the year. Not so bad on JP since the anniversary units crush it for about 5 months, but I have some concerns about global. The 8th year units hurt bad during the last WWDC, they became a lot more finicky. Gogeta is borderline dodge or die already, and Broly already takes a solid chunk of damage when transformed. Gogeta will have a very hard time surviving the next meta spike, and Broly has about half the value since Toppo and Cell Max are still up in the air. Summon on Beast and get red coins for Broly’s return. Beast will do well at least until 10th Anni. Remember, we have to rate Gogeta and Broly by their base form and not their transformed states. Even transformed Gogeta still does not have good enough Defense.
