Undoubtedly, Mina and Hong Gi displayed seamless communication during the filming period. Their fluency in each other's language was remarkable, to say the least. It was as if there was no language barrier between them. Their ability to converse effortlessly without the need for an interpreter was evident, even during press conferences.

Mina and Hongki show the most natural chemistry and communication isn't a problem for them. Hongki understands some of Japanese culture and Mina studied Korean language & culture for 6 years. As such, they have a higher probability of actually working out in real life, of course assuming they are attracted to each other and want to pursue more.

well.. also the fact that Mina knows Korean helped the most cause he didn't have to try to understand what she was saying or have really any language barrier since she was speaking Korean

That woman was doing translating on the spot for non-Korean speaking reporters present at the conference. MBC probably didn't want to spend more having someone else to do subtitles. As irritating as it is, you can hardly blame the woman for it.
