Excellent video giving a balanced, if critical, explanation of neoliberalism and its relationship to global trade. Can't thank you enough for this.

Thanks for the comment, glad it's useful...I guess I'll have to redo the whole thing in the light of recent events, but still...

Thank you for the upload. I found this little video upload through completely spontaneous random KZbin search - 'Anthropology Undergrads' - and then worked my way here just browsing KZbin from that jump point.

Thank you for this brilliant video. As I am writing an academic paper on this topic, could recommend some good literature on this topic where the link of neoliberal globalization and its effects on poverty, social inequality and maybe even environmental destruction is explained? Thank you a lot!

Thanks very much to the University of Sydney for 'releas(ing) the (van) Krieken' further to this excellent and objective synopsis of Neoliberalism, while we're all stuffed if that laughing guy in the Reagan and Bush Sr. 4.48 pic. foreground is Bernie Sanders!
@alexander19555 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure it is, though. There's a rough resemblance, but you don't get a very good look at his face, could be anyone really.

...I said that in jest of course, and while the guy looks to me like Bernie, he either wouldn't have been as old as that then and/or had white hair. It's more likely that he's either one of Milton Friedman-stein's 'Chicago boys', some corporate plutocrat, or a Washington beltway insider (Rep or otherwise) re: the huge lobbying industry complex that Washington evolved into - in a far more intense way - following Reagan and Bush1.Nevertheless, 'NL winners are grinners' of course (as testified to here by this "laughing gas" - to quote Gore Vidal - bunch), while thanks once again, Robert, for your great NL summation!..You/we now need to get a competition going re: the best caption for that pic, while my off the cuff entry is this: "What trickle down?". With best wishes and gratitude.

Regulating the money supply is not part of Neo-liberalism. Perhaps pop over to the economics faculty and ask about that bit.
