They aren't stealing cars for at least 10 days that the cops have been watching them for personal purposes. They're part of an outfit with larger connections, able to move the cars overseas probably. Charge them with criminal conspiracy, charge them with organized crime, and we need to introduce a charge whereby you face an additional charge if you do not give up the name of criminal associates you were clearly caught in the act with. Forget giving him a sweetheart deal to get the others, make it so that they face additional time if they don't name names. This government will gladly overcharge political dissidents, hoping to scare them into pleading guilty, but then doesn't ever think of doing the same with actual street and organized criminals. Charged with multiple charges in Canada = slap on the wrist. Even the second guy who ran over the cop will likely get assault with a deadly weapon, and in Canada that has no minimum sentencing, only a max of 10 years. Meaning he could get a couple of months if it's a first offence.

Both were born and raised in Canada. Last week, three were arrested with Indian last names. And last year, five from Haitian/Jamaican background. These are working for organized crime groups.

I'm 567lbs and struggle with food and cannabis addiction. I voted Biden and defunded the police. Now crime is out of control and I was assaulted so badly I got depressed. I made a mistake. I realise now drugs are bad and police are good. I will vote Trump now. Sorry for making the country so bad. I will lose weight and do better.

18 years old. Throwing their lives away. I was born in poverty back in the Philippines. At 18 years old, I was studying in university with almost nothing to eat for days but my siblings and I were focused and determined to have a degree and hopefully have a better life. I'm thankful for how our parents raised us well. Never in our entire lives did my siblings and I ever think of committing any crime just to have food on the table. We took on whatever jobs we could find. Now, I've been in Canada for almost 15 years and a Canadian now and busy with several jobs and still working hard as ever for the sake of my two children. I can't believe how some teenagers just try to throw their lives away. And then the problem is our justice system... I've seen how many criminals go to jail for only a few years and go back to society and commit more heinous crimes.

Certain segments of the population have kids without raising them properly. These kids grew up on the streets from an early age. If these kids do poorly in school, baby mama blames the teachers. If they commit crimes, blame the system failed them . In reality, they need to look in the mirror., there lies the problem.

We lost two lexus on our driveway two years apart. Our neighbourhood has been suffering from auto theft and occasionally break-ins. Up till yesterday, we still saw on cameras that suspicious people sneaked into cars and stole the garage opener. We are hiring a private security company but this is not a long term solution. The government has failed to serve and protect. Good police officers' hands are tied. The cost of committing crimes is so low that those criminals just don't care. Sad to see Toronto become such a unliveable place.
