AC units are not up to date. My previous home was a house built in 2014, valued at 500,000 in the nicest part of town, but the AC unit failed when our town passed its record of 106 in July. And we went the rest of summer without a working AC. Technology needs to catch up with the geological warming that is occurring into the next 100 or so years

This has happened with airline companies a few times throughout the past few decades. It really does take a crash or sometimes even more than one crash for change to be implemented.
