DMX passing broke my heart. This man wore his heart on his sleeve. Yes he had many flaws and deamons but he was open about it, battled it and put that pain and determination in his music. DMX still is one of my favorite rappers, in fact we is the man that got me into Rap. I remember and Then there was X album was my life in high school I played that damn cd on my disc man and in my car that I killed the disk. Cool, now for Me, being from NYC born in the 70s like X and them, I was already a Fan of Rap music and part of the Hip Hop culture for manys years maybe 15 or 17 when DMX came out BUT He Helped save my love for the culture for a while the rugged NYC style was gone it was all LA and the south I fix with LA BUT NYC is Hip Hop I was so proud of him getting old and fat and then during his major comeback he released and passed!

When I was 18 on july 15 2011 I met dmx on my first day in prison in yuma AZ. He was getting his haircut in the bathroom while I was being showed how things went. He went home like 2 weeks after while I was started my 7 yrs. He always called me over and said what's up youngster after I spit for him that first day. True legend!!💯💯 respect
