Storm Generations had the best mechanics. Storm 3 and 4 added intrusive mechanics to a winning formula. But they’re still good games. Storm 4 is still the best overall package. Free roam story modes padded the games too much for me.

9:03 I have to disagree about it being balanced. I used to go up against the number 1 ranked player online all the time, and he just fully abused Hiruko's dash attack. Even if you managed to beat him, which would be entirely due to his own mistakes, the prick would turn his Wii off, causing the match to stop without winning or losing any points. Yeah. Rev. 3 isn't balanced. Hiruko is flat out retarded to fight against because of his Back-B and dash attack.He's almost untouchable when out of range and can spam without difficulty. Still, he's not as dumb as Sasuke. Him, Baki, Kakashi and the Akatsuki pretty much run the game. Most of the roster is invalidated by 12 characters.

I've played around 80% of these games and Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is my personal favorite. Great combat, huge roster, excellent story mode with free-roaming, good amount of content, and it has the very underappreciated feature of giving team names. The amount of unique team names is really impressive, and I found it fun to just try different combos on the character select to discover new ones.

Clash of ninja is low-key one of the best beginner fighting game series. It's not balanced at all but every character has a ton of flavor, like a basic attack for every character is throwing kunai with small variations among them, except rock Lee and guy don't have them cuz they're taijutsu, meaning they have an entire extra button for combos.

I remembered buying Ninja Council 3 used from Gamestop as a kid. I absolutely LOVED the exhibition mode since they didn't wipe games back then. All characters were unlocked. I think one day I reset it so I could try to beat the story myself and ended up hating the game. Could never go back to that exhibition mode because it was too grindy to unlock those characters

Cool, anyway here's the recipe for brownies: STEP 1 Heat the oven to 180C/ fan 160C/! gas 4. STEP 2 Line a 22cm square brownie tin with baking parchment. I can’t really see how you’d put rise of ninja in B class, but I guess it’s opinion based. Personally I think it’s the best Naruto game ever made, character progression, story, map, gameplay, and best of all it had amazing replay ability with tons of easter eggs and achievements. I guess it’s a hidden gem. Also as far as combat you make it sound like you can spam substitution jitsu but you actually have to time it perfectly in order for it to trigger and it uses your chakra, way more advanced than the storm series.

I know it seems like you were emphasizing a western release list but it was unfortunate when you skipped over NARUTO Shippuden Gekitou Ninja War SPECIAL This was the clash of Ninja game after revolution 3 and I got to play an emulated version of it. I thought it was polished so I didn't really play it much. They added some characters and even made some balance changes and it's unfortunate that it never was released in North America. It followed the story up into the pain arc although ironically did not offer Pain as a playable character

For me it's the Ultimate Ninja Series and the Rise of a Ninja Series, I do think Storm is great, but I could never personally say that anything (for me) beats Ultimate Ninja and Rise of a Ninja. Rise of a Ninja was the closest we got to an actual Naruto RPG, and the visuals were fantastic. I'd go as far as to say that Rise of a Ninja has BETTER visuals than the storm series and it's on the Xbox 360, a previous generation console, it really showed the 360's graphic power at least for that type of game/series.
